The course was comprehensive and thorough. I actually went through the lessons twice before doing the 2 exams because by the time I finished I'd forgotten a great deal of the earlier lessons. I particularly like having life-long access to the lessons

The learning was very comprehensive and covered a lot more than required to just pass the exam. My only negative comment was that I found the narrator to be a bit monotone and I occasionally struggled to stay with it. Having said that I’m not sure how the correct balance could be achieved so may be classroom learning would have suited me better.

The feedback provided by instructors is very clear and helpful.

I found skipper online material very easy to follow and well organized. The interactions with the instructors have been every time very helpful to address some doubt on the arguments or some exercise possible answers.

Really course content, very clear and response online help. Mobile app version helpful too although better on a laptop. Definitely recommend.

The course was very clear and easy to understand, the instructors reply the same day and are always helpful.

It was a very informative and easy to understand course with good imagery and video.

I did the RYA Day Skipper course and found the material self-contained, easy to follow, logically presented and convenient as I could also log in on my phone when I hade a few minutes to spare.

Practice exams allow you to gauge your readiness to take the formal exams and allow some targeted revision if required.

The navigation tools, charts, almanac and other resources supplied were of good quality and useful. There's nothing in the course that limits you to the tools and resources supplied so if you prefer to work from the IALA B system and Chart #1 as opposed to IALA A and Admiralty Chart 5011 or perhaps use a set of parallel rulers as opposed to the supplied Portland Plotter if you're already used to those - go right ahead.

The support staff were helpful and responsive both by phone and email and consistently exceeded promised timescales of levels of support promised, an absolute rarity in today's world. I found their considered feedback on the mock and formal exams was friendly, constructive and very helpful.

I did the Day Skippers theory course. It is extremely comprehensive and well structured . It is well presented. I definitely recommend Skippers Online for any RYA Theory courses.

The course is very clear and I never had a question which was unanswered for more than a few hours. The instructors were always engaged and try to provide with as much information in their answers as possible. I didn't need to arrange for a call but I believe that this can be provided if the student needs it.

YM theory Skippers on Line is a great course - it’s very thorough and well presented. There’s quick responses from the tutors by email for any questions. Day Skipper and YM presented in similar format so makes sense to follow on. Would thoroughly recommend if you want to do on line.
