ordered some 10 inch detailed skirting to match a sample i provided slightly under pressure to complete a site delivered on site within 3 days as opposed to the 7 days quoted by Clinton perfect result will use these guys again

10/10 first class. Skirting, architrave top and bottom plinths all mdf and all satin finished…..this is the best pre paint finish I have ever seen, perfect literally. Fast delivery, 7-10 days done, the packaging to protect the painted finish was also the best I’ve ever seen (I’m 52) don’t confuse this company with other companies with a similar name “skirting ….”
And as I’ve read on other reviews, Clinton comes straight back to you, none of this wait 24-48 hrs, 5 days to reply crap.

I ordered some pre glossed skirting over skirting last Monday (24th April) and was told it would be delivered in 7-10 days. After ordering i looked around at some reviews and was a little bit nervous as there were a few negatives ones although they were from a couple of years back. I called on 03/05 for an update on tracking and the guy who answered the phone was brilliant and informed me it was due to to be completed on the Thursday and delivered on Friday. Parcel arrived today and couldn't be more pleased. Wrapped really well for protection and it is fantastic quality. Please don't be fazed by the negative reviews. Fantastic service and product.

Great prepainted eggshell skirting boards, well packaged, and despite me mistakenly paying for quick delivery (they can't do it due to preparation/drying time) the company had them with me within four days!

First class finish, and the email customer support when I queried delivery was quick and helpful.

Ordered some skirting covers, one of which was damaged in transit. They replaced the damaged one really quickly with a bigger piece (4m) than the ones I'd originally ordered (3m). No messing about, just rang up and it was sorted out over the phone. Fella was really friendly. Skirting covers are great too and looks loads better the old ones we inherited.

The reason I am putting this on here is due to the fact they vet the reviews on their website and only publish the good ones. Which I think is very wrong tbh! Ordering was easy and a follow-up call on the phone was friendly on the but not the fastest delivery. I ordered over 50m of skirting, it took around 10 days to get the product delivered .. so more skirting not so express!  When I called up I was told it would be delivered on their own van so I needed to wait until they were in the area.  In the end, it came on a courier which was disappointing as I could have got the work done sooner.  Also, 5 of the 4m lengths were damaged around 16" in from the end. This was in the same place on each board and looks to be where a strap may have held them together before they got repackaged as I paid for primmed boards.  We got our chippy to cut around and use on shorter runs but still not great!
They look good now fitted but an average'ish service and experience to be honest.

I just received my order and it was delivered within the standard delivery timeframe. I asked for a custom 80ml high rebate for half of the order and it was again followed and well executed. I’m a satisfied customer

As other reviewers have noted, the 5-7 working days delivery time is a fantasy. I'm one of the lucky ones I guess because mine turned up on the ninth working day, but not without much chasing on my part during which the Skirting Express representative informed me that it was just a case of waiting in to see whether it turns up! The tracking info they gave me was junk, simply resulting in a "not found" message on the courier website, so this totally inconvenienced me. They don't care though.

This company claims to have a 'guaranteed delivery time of 5-7 working days' on their webpage; however this is quite clearly not the case. I have yet to receive the skirting boards that I bought and paid for.

After telling that first they 'suffered a power cut for a full day', the paint on my skirting boards are now taking longer to dry than expected which is why they won't be able to deliver on time.

You would think that this was subject to any kind of dispensation / discount, right? So would I, but sadly support is quiet as the grave on this matter.

Would I recommend this company? Well; let's see once the skirting boards finally arrive.

The skirting arrived well packaged and in good order. I did ring customer services to check the delivery date as I had a carpenter booked, followed by a carpet fitter. Customer services were very helpful, they arranged processing that afternoon and delivery the next day.

Skirting was delivered slightly quicker than I expected.
Was really well packaged with card protecting the skirting and shrink wrapped as well.
Skirting itself is solid and the primer was done well.
Highly recommend this supplier based on my experience.

Placed a substantial order of colonial skirting and architrave on the 19th May with 5-7 day delivery. Finally received the order on 4th June after multiple calls to customer services.

When the skirting arrived. It looked completely different to the image on the site and was swiftly rejected.

I offered to pay 50% of the restocking fee in order to exchange for another product and explained that I should not be paying the same fee as someone who cancels an order rather than exchanges. Waited multiple days for a response and had to keep chasing myself.

Have decided to pay the restocking fee and buy elsewhere just so I don’t have to deal with this companies lack of customer service anymore

I ordered one small piece of skirting - it’s taken weeks and I have still not received it.
I finally managed to get through and they promised that I would receive it on Tuesday. Nothing arrived and I did not receive any correspondence to prove that it has been dispatched. This company takes an awfully long time and I doubt that I will ever receive my skirting so I am hoping to get a refund!

Ordered free.samples. waiting weeks for it and still nothing. Dont manage to text back. Afraid to make order.

Highly recommended I ordered a lot of skirting about 2 years ago. It was the cheapest about and its great quality. I also ordered another lot a week ago. I had to wait a while as their Internet payment system was down. But a little delay is to be expected as their warehouse had burnt down. But soon as I was able to put my order in I did. And same again cheapest about great delivery rates quick delivery and top notch quality. I couldn't recommend this company enough 5 stars from me.

Do not use this company. I placed and paid for an order and they’ve kept my money!

Avoid at all costs. Eventually, this company let us know the reason for the delay in delivery is that there was a fire in the warehouse. Have been waiting for a refund for over 2 weeks now. Apparently they are having problems with World Pay. They are also having problems with the power in their new warehouse which is preventing them from answering the phones. Now waiting for the manager to get in "Dave" to authorise the promised BACs payment of the refund. "It should be refunded today". No doubt another call with be necessary. I understand we are all going through hard times during Covid, we run a business ourselves. Treating the customer like this is unacceptable.

Tried to place an order but when I go to put in my credit card payment the site says "Worldpay error so I am unable to pay for it.
Then get an email from Skirting Express to say I still have things in my Basket here's 10% off if I wish to continue with payment. Tried several more time to pay & still Worldpay error.
E-mailed Skirting Express no one has answered. Tried ringing several times no answer.
Not very good customer service. I give up!!

Fitted some 300mm skirting which a customer had ordered themselves, the profile was excellent all the way down each length and the sprayed primer was an excellent finish 👌
