I felt safe and my instructor was very good to make me feel comfortable with my first ever tandem sky dive! Given the difficult Covid situation, they've adapted well!

Fabulous experience!
The Sky Diving London team we’re very efficient and helpful. Also with Covid conditions everything was managed really well and safely.
I would 100% recommend to others, great day out for groups or alone.

First time at tandem jumping :)
The team that you tandem jump with are amazing... the pilot, the camera crew and the guys and girls strapped to your back to get you down safely. They keep things light hearted, chat continuously to make sure you know what is happening and what to expect, and make the whole experience great fun. Special thanks to Chris who took me for my 1st jump, was a truly an awesome experience! Would definitely recommend.

The actual jump was amazing but
The actual jump was amazing.
The only issue was waiting for 4 hours to jump and at some point people who arrived after us jumped before us. It didn't feel right.
Plus, nobody say anywhere that people who are not jumping will be in a different area where there are even no seats available. My wife is 6 months pregnant and she had to stay for 4 hours waiting.
It is necessary to provide some sitting solutions for those who are not jumping.

Hi Alan - we are glad you enjoyed your jump. The numbers arriving at your arrival time of 1130 were given priority on groupings within that arrival time. So that we don't split family and friends groups we select carefully the people for each lift so as to ensure everyone is happy.
4 hours is quite a short wait time in the skydiving world as booking in, now the COVID pre-test procedure and also briefing, not everyone can go first! We have had a few occasions where people have arrived at 8am and not jumped until late afternoon due to the weather or air traffic control holds. We do advise to allow the day for your experience because sometimes there are events beyond our control. As for seating for spectators, we cannot provide this as it would be another area for cleaning and sanitising. This was detailed on our website - here is a copy and paste of that information ...
"To help with social distancing (until our normal communal areas can reopen) we shall be asking participants to set up camp around their vehicles in the carpark.
To make your experience more enjoyable please feel free to bring with you anything you might need to aid your comfort as this is an open air space without any shade or covering – such as portable chairs, sunbeds, sunshades, picnics etc. Once your training commences you will not be allowed to return to the separate spectator area until your jump is completed to minimise contact points. Skydiving is a weather dependant activity and as such, it is impossible for us to guarantee specific jump times – which is why we ask participants to always allow a full day when attending."

We are trying SO HARD to work in the new normal and all the additional measures are new to us too. Thank you for your patience whilst we try to get it right.

It's such an exciting time and as a parent and a skydiver I can definitely say becoming a parent is equal to jumping out of a plane, in that you don't know what to expect, there's no going back, so you just enjoy it anyhow and when you hold that baby in your arms you will feel like you are on Cloud 9! What a thrill
What a thrill! Did I really do that?
The instructor was very good at making me feel at ease, and with his extensive experience I knew I was in safe hands.
If the video cameraman hadn't given me a few signs after we exited the plane I would have just had my mouth open the whole way down, what a laugh.
I can't put it in words how it felt, but freefall was definitely the highlight for me.
I had been more concerned about the landing, but that was very smooth.
I highly recommend giving it a try. Well worth it.
Watching others skydive was also really beautiful.

Worth every penny and more!!
An amazing experience with a really friendly professional team, especially in these difficult times (Aug 2020). I took the video and photo option and wow am I happy I did. The video and photos caught all aspects of my day and was worth every penny in fact seeing the quality I would have happily paid more. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the whole experience. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
