Skip with wings. Safer to flap your arms and try fly.

Just don’t do it to yourself. The plane, well wow. Don’t know which museum they dragged it out of, but I wasn’t flying on that heap of junk. I don’t know about the national airline of Greece but it was definitely the national disgrace of Greece. All that was missing was the chicken in cages on the back rows. I stepped on board took one look, eye popped and I was off that craft faster than I got on. While on the way out the door I managed to ask the captain if he was embarrassed to be on that thing, he just looked stunned, so I know he knew how I felt. It was late, unclean and I would have had more luck fitting my finger through a polo than getting us all on that plane. So I read the so called awards they have, uh uh, yeah, ok so all from their own in house team no offence here crew but that’s like getting your mum to write your university degree certificate. I could go on but you get the picture. But seriously, if a chav from a council estate won’t get on your plane, you have no hope.

A bit nervous but not too bad!

Having looked at the reviews on here after booking my flights, I must admit that I was quite worried especially as we booked a flight for Friday 13th. However, everything was fine and for the low cost we paid for the flights plus luggage I can't really complain. We flew from Gatwick to Athens and then two days later from Athens to Kos. Both flights were a bit delayed but not by much. The use of the lounge at Athens was a nice bonus; it was nothing too fancy but it was nice to get a decent seat and some beer and coffee. My only disappointment from flying with Sky Express was that I hadn't realised that you can't check luggage in until 2 hours before your flight at Gatwick which was annoying as we'd paid for lounge access so only got to use it for 30 minutes.

They dont deserve your business

I give one star because no option for less… Flew from Milos to Athens on the 27th of Sept. My luggage and those of majority of passenger were left in Milos. They can not loose luggage in such a small airport, only explanation is they were left intentionally… Still waiting to hear from them. Never fly withthem.

Bumped from flight !

Why does this carrier bump International travellers with connecting flights. Why aren’t locals flying back to Athens without connecting flights selected to be bumped.

Booked my flight in February
2024. Bumped from flight as they had over booked the seats on the plane.

I have an international flight to Dubai that was planned now having to take a later flight.

The bumping has put it in jeopardy and very likely to miss my connecting flight.

Flight from Milos to Athens 1/2 of the…

Flight from Milos to Athens 1/2 of the passengers did not get there luggage due to the flight to heavy???
We had a connecting flight to Brisbane without our luggage.
Hopefully we will get them within two weeks.
Maybe think to go by ferry rather than flying to avoid this situation…

Flew for the first time on Sky Express

Flew for the first time on Sky Express. Athens to London was a few minutes late leaving but arrived LGT on time. From check-in to arrival everything was great. The aircraft was a new Airbus 320neo.

Our only disappointment was the absence of entertainment (movies, tv, etc). However we realize it is a lower cost airline

No real problems outbound or return…

No real problems outbound or return London to Athens. Delayed, but due to passenger not boarding and Athens security, not Sky Express. Good amount of legroom. Happy, helpful courteous staff. Luggage all fine

Wrong info on terminal displays, no compensation

They screwed me. The terminal display showed wrong boarding times. I arrived to the gate according to the showed time and missed my flight. They declined my refund request (but refunded the taxes). I had to book apartments for several days and buy a more expensive ticket for another day. I require the full compensation of that more expensive ticket and the paid airbnb cost. Damaged Luggage

I was travelling back from Athens with my family. The flight arrived at 23:40pm at Larnaca airport. There was a delay of about an hour for the luggages to arrive at the designated belt. After the bags have finally arrived, my luggage was damaged but because of unavailability of airport staff, the late hour and the fact that I had a sleeping baby in my arms, me and my wife decided to leave and make a claim online (this is common practise for the majority of the airlines). I made an online claim providing all relevant evidence but Sky Express denied to provide any reimbursement since I did not make a claim at the airport. Now I am left with a EUR600 broken luggage and I will need to get it fixed, if applicable, or buy a new one.
The worst company evey and will never use them again

Lost luggage - no reply

Upon arrival at CPH airport back from vacation at the 27 of Juli 2024, I did not recieve my luggage. A missing report was filed. It is now the 10th of september and I have not heard anything. I have called and the one time one answered they said they could not help through phone so I should write Customer Care. I write almost everyday but noone ever replies. Meaning I cant make any insurance claims at my insurance company.

I would not trust this company with my luggage.

Disgusting Airline and Crew

They are pathetic. Luggage stays behind while you reach your destination. They do not tell you this. They pretend the luggage goes onto the plane. We paid for 23kgs of checked baggage each (6 passengers) and the airfare was very expensive for a 40 minute flight. Why were we allowed to 23kgs each if it was too heavy for that plane? Money hungry morons.are They check
your luggage in supposedly but does not go onto the plane. No idea when the luggage will arrive when you arrive at Athens Airport. They couldn't care less. No customer service. 0 stars for this Airline. Arrogant staff at Milos Airport Greece. Laughing and lying to tourists. Disgusting behaviour.

Good low-budget airline experience

We flew from Athens to Gatwick. It is a budget airline and you get what you pay for. Overall, I had a better experience than easyJet or Ryanair. The price was very good - much cheaper than the equivalent easyJet flight. The website is very clear to use and the companies communications before the flight were clear. Online check-in is only available 48 hours before the flight but was easy to do. It is a shame they don't have an app. There was a bit of a queue for baggage drop but this went quickly enough. We had paid for express security which wasn't really worth it. We had also paid for the lounge which was worth it as the facilities at Athens airport aren't great. The planes are brand new Airbuses and they are great. The flight was quick and comfortable. The air stewards were helpful and pleasant. We even had a free drink (non-alcoholic)! There wasn't much of a wait for baggage in Gatwick. I would definitely use them next time I fly to Greece.

Discriminatory Experience with Sky Express with Sonya Alexandrova - Flight from Mykonos to Athens -

I recently had an extremely distressing experience with Sky Express during my flight from Mykonos to Athens on August 20th, 2024 (Flight GQ 231). The check-in process was handled by a staff member named Sonya Alexandrova at the Mykonos Sky Express counter, who subjected me to blatant discrimination based on my nationality and language abilities.

As someone with a Bulgarian passport who doesn't speak Bulgarian, I was targeted and mistreated for not knowing the language. Ms. Sonya’s behavior was openly hostile and unprofessional, refusing to assist me properly and creating unnecessary obstacles, including refusing to provide basic information about excess baggage fees. She treated me with disdain, even to the point of shouting at me in front of other passengers and refusing to allow me to address my luggage issue without going through unnecessary hassle.

This experience was deeply humiliating and upsetting. I have never encountered such discriminatory behavior from an airline staff member in my life. Sky Express needs to address this issue seriously to ensure that no other passengers have to endure such treatment.

I strongly urge Sky Express to investigate this incident and take appropriate action. Discrimination based on nationality or language has no place in customer service or anywhere else.

Sky express absolutely demolished my…

Sky express absolutely demolished my brand new suitcase but I can not reach their customer service neither via email nor via phone to receive reimbursement. I have provided them all the necessary documents to submit my reimbursement request as mentioned in the terms and conditions of their website, but I have yet to receive an answer 25 days later.

After calling them multiple times, waiting at least 30 minutes for each call, the call just dropped each time and I received no call back.

The most fraudulent airline ever.

At least Aegean airlines, their much bigger and reliable competitor, has a kind customer service that answeres to their customers.

Awful

Myself and my partner were randomly selected for standby on a flight Athens to Milos 11th July. We were not informed of this at all, until we were at the airport to collect our boarding passes from the front desk. We arrived in Athens 48 hrs earlier so as not to miss our flight to Milos. The check in guy was so u helpful and couldn’t do anything about it.
We were told to email Customer Service with photos of our 2 boarding passes that state STANDBY and we would be reimbursed €250 each.
We both emailed 11th July.
We both have completed the customer contact form online.
We have had no responses whatsoever from the team.
The contact number does not allow customer service questions, it’s only via email.
I have been emailing every single day a reply to Customer Service asking for an update and nothing.
Never fly this airline within Greece!

Don’t ever fly sky express. #skyexpresssucks

Don’t ever fly. They steal your luggage. They Don’t place on airplane and then keep it. No refund, no reimbursement, no care. All my medicine left behind because they decided. All 5 of us plus others on same plane, left luggage and never asked or told us! They Just take your money and do not provide the service contracted to do.should be illegal, but this is Greece, no one cares. No customer service. No phone service. God awful! Run away! Take a high speed ferry instead.

Don't fly Skyexpress even if your life…

Don't fly Skyexpress even if your life depended on it.

We booked two tickets 6 months in advance to fly from Athens to a Greek island. Only to find out at the flight date they bumped us of the flight due to overbooking. I cannot describe how disgusted I am by their business model. Making overbooking part of their daily operation and just make a calculated business decision to cause inconvenience to their customer. At the customer booth at the airport there was zero understanding and they were hiding behind European law. The European law they refer to, indeed does not forbid overbooking and guarantees compensation to the passenger. However Skyexpress turns not forbidden around in we are allowed and abuses this law to fit their business model. The inconvenience to their customer is just a calculated business risk which is valued against their profit-loss not against customer satisfaction. Keep in mind you are not a customer at Skyepress you are just cattle they have to deal with.
