Windows 11 DONT BOTHER its useless
Useless wont load and wont work. New laptop and a hopeless app that isn't compatible with windows 11. may cancel my sub now. Spend hours loading reloading wiping all traces of my laptop. Ridiculosity poor tech ...embarassing !!!

Avoid the Sky app…
This app is rubbish all it is is a selling site for the latest phones and deals. All I want to do is to transfer data from my piggy bank to my phone. Impossible on the app despite Sky saying you can do. I even tried speaking to a salesman at the Sky kiosk at the local shopping centre and even he couldn't do it.
The only way is the good old fashioned way and that is to speak to a human being. Doing this solved the problem immediately and data was transferred although you can only transfer 5gb at a time.

Absolutely shocking!! Works fine on iPhone, but Microsoft…no chance. Every time I use this you are forced to download updates. And now, the update has rendered the app useless. I only have sky to watch the football and the service is disgraceful. We are forced to pay a fortune to watch football to get a crap service. The movies are a joke…1 decent new film per year…might as well go to the cinema for what it costs. Sky treat their customers like scum.

This app barely works
Crashes every time. Sometimes after 30 seconds. Sometimes after 30 minutes. Makes watching anything excruciating. An app so bad it makes you wonder if this is deliberate on Sky's part. Quite remarkable really.

This weekend Sky advertising that it will be showing even more footy matches next season, 215 etc. Saw that and my heart sank. Out of all the apps, Sky Go is the worst. It freezes, it's slow, kicks you out, goes blurry, you name it. Big name but very outdated. Far superior experience on TNT sports/discovery plus and Amazon Prime, with timelines and options to replay goals and then return to live watching and crystal clear viewing and streaming. Looking at the reviews here, I am not alone. Please can some investment go into updating this app!!

This app is useless. It’s very difficult to find shows. Navigating through the app is frustrating. You can’t cancel recordings. The sky+ app was super easy to use and efficient- bring it back please.

Technical issues: engineer visited and I was at work mentioned to my family member who was in that I would get a months sky cinema as compensation for poor equiptment and service. I didn’t know anything about this never changed or agreed in anyway shape or legal form to accept. Family member didn’t pay much attention at time as thought I would be notified in some way. To be clear they offered it for free for a month however after this you get charged the full amount and have to ring and cancel they don’t say apply for a month then take off so it’s a con to get you tied in and to pay for something.
With Sky for 7 years in total so trusted them - big mistake fast forward 10 months when my contract ran out and payments increased so rang Sky to speak about this and discovered they had been charging me £19 per month for 10 months for Sky cinema without my legal consent or agreement. Apparently a family member opening the door for the engineer at work is in their words legally allowed to change your contract verbally with an engineer! Ludicrous! Apparently it was applied and I didn’t cancel - yeah because I had no idea it was even applied or of the charges. Also poor family member now feels terrible because they thought they were giving me something nice for free but it’s a con .. they were not told about the free trial running out, cancelling or payments then starting or they would have said no! To the one month . They had no idea and honestly feel crap that they were time advantage of and cost me money

Multiple interactions with Sky customer services for weeks me having to ring them as they played the game where they say someone will call you but they don’t and you be decent and say don’t call a Tuesday night I work 2 jobs so they ring a Tuesday night just to show they don’t care.
Offered £60 for the £200 approx taken which I declined for obvious reasons. Spent so much time on this already and stressed to be told last night by a manager I have to take to ombusman (took weeks to sort this as is) she didn’t listen talked over me and was blunt - glad they record the calls. Clearly hope I give up on this but I won’t . Principle of this now to do this to someone to take money out of their bank when they never agreed and blame a family member for opening the door when it was their poor equiptment that broke and I. Could not get the time off work and also I was paying for a service I couldn’t use.
Manager told me last night I would get the email with details on of how to talk further….. guess what no email?? I will now have to call and chase again … the game continues. Needless to say left Sky for tv package now and will never be a Sky tv customer again. Have had to stay for broadband but hoping this will not continue in the future hoping I won’t get my bill changed without my knowledge by this department. If I could give no stars it would be that for customer service as they I feel in my opinion play games to get you to give up.

Terrible. Sky go never logs in, always a problem. Change password every time then it says can’t use previous password! Even then when I’m signed in, nothing works, like bills, my products or any of it unless you want to upgrade your service! Then it works perfectly! Call centre is just as bad, can’t answer any technical queries but brilliant at billing and upgrades. Don’t send packaging for old equipment and won’t let installers take it with them but really quick at threatening and billing you for it!!
