I have just moved to Asda mobile after years of staying with Sky. I thought my phone was the reason I had bad connections, calls dropping out, the other person not being able to hear me. I put the Asda sim in no call problems at all. And Sky increasing the bill time after time. I was paying £11 for poor service now I am paying £5 for the sam3 package. Shame
Worst customer service I've encountered
I've been with them for six years now and it has not got any better. I have handsets and sims for all my family, 5 handsets and 6 sims, but this confuses Sky's help so much. The poor people on the phone know very little, don't often speak good English (eg ask for something but mean another eg find it difficult to specify what they mean) and I would recommend avoiding Sky entirely, what is worse is that they were at least cheap when I signed up, but now are not even that. In an age of poor service, they have consistently been the poorest, badly trained and poor communicators, it is not really their fault. Just this awful and inhumane company with no feel for the fact their customers are people, who maybe need support with the errors, in many cases, that their employers have made on my account to begin with.
Sky Mobile “Next Day Delivery” – Four Promised Dates Missed
Posting this as a warning for anyone considering ordering a device from Sky Mobile at the moment, as my experience has been extremely frustrating.
I ordered an iPad Air 13-inch (2025) on Wednesday 4th March, well before the 9pm cutoff for next-day delivery. The device never arrived.
On Friday 6th March, Sky confirmed there had been a system error that had effectively trapped the order. After speaking with support, they advised cancelling the order and placing it again. I re-ordered with them on the phone and was guaranteed delivery for Saturday 7th March. I signed all the required documents immediately at 9am, well before the 9pm deadline.
Saturday came and went, nothing arrived.
The following morning I spent more time on the phone escalating the issue (Case #4855600286). During that call I was told they would never promise Saturday delivery, despite that being exactly what I had been told previously. I was also told devices can take two days to process, something that is not clearly stated on the website.
After that conversation I was again assured the device would arrive no later than Monday 9th March.
It is now Sunday evening after 9pm, and my Sky account still shows “Awaiting dispatch”, while DPD have confirmed they have not received the parcel.
To make matters worse:
• Sky have already taken two £12 upfront payments
• I am currently tied into two separate £1000+ credit agreements
• The original order still hasn’t been cancelled
• There is still no dispatch confirmation or tracking
What’s particularly frustrating is that the device still shows as “In Stock – Next Day Delivery” on the Sky website.
At this point I have filed a complaint with the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) because the delivery claims appear to be misleading.
If you are considering ordering a device from Sky Mobile, it may be worth being cautious — the “Next Day Delivery” promise does not appear to reflect the reality of the ordering process at the moment.
Sky Mobile STAY WELL CLEAR …
I have been with Sky for over 23 years who class me as a Diamond VIP customer.
Have been trying to upgrade my phone but despite several conversations (in total spent over 3 hours)with Sky agents who sound as if based abroad my order continuously is cancelled with no explanation afforded just an abrupt email stating cancelled. Each time order placed Sky asked for £12 for handset but have now confirmed refunds being processed.
I have complained about this atrocious customer service and was told the complaints team would get back to me but have heard nothing to date!
I have since cancelled mobile contract &gone to EE who agreed & provided new phone within 48 hours.
If I could give Sky minus points on this review the score would be -10!
Definitely not recommended !
Trying to purchase a new phone
Trying to purchase a new phone. Sky run credit check four times in two days and still did not send a device.
Customer service and supervisor put me on hold, halfway my sentence and never continue the conversation.
So I have been trying to get into SKY…
So I have been trying to get into SKY (happy it did not work for me).
I placed an order. And then found out that there was a better option - I contacted SKY. They advised to cancel the whole parcel and then place the right order. Sounded reasonable.
I did as I was told.
But then... no order got through. I tried several times. I tried to talk to the customer support. And every single order got cancelled.
Then I was told that they found why. And they promised to call back. Nobody called.
Today I called they ignored the story and tried to place an order again. Of course it got automatically cancelled. And then I just got a letter that I will get 1gb contract but I wanted 100mb....
more than 2 weeks of trying to become their client. Happy to have failed after I read all the reviews here.

Useless service
Useless service, dont bother. I wanted to buy a new phone, but the person did not understand english and i gave up repeating myself.
Customer service rubbish!!!!
I have been trying to resolve an issue with my account for 1 month. I have 4 mobiles on my account, you’d think they would want to resolve and keep me as a customer. Technical service has been appalling. I get promises on it being sorted within 3-5 days and it never is. It is causing a lot of stress. I even went to a store in Leeds they were so unhelpful, kept saying they didn’t know the journey of the 4th phone so couldn’t help me. Ridiculous. I am completely sick of this now, and I will terminate my contracts as soon as I can. My issue is an app error, I can’t see any of my sims since adding the forth phone, god knows what they’ve done but everyone I speak so says there is a technical problem. The customer service has been rubbish!!
Avoid at all costs i cannot wait until…
Avoid at all costs i cannot wait until my contract end for TV and broadband ,customer for over 20 years ,got a Samsung z5 flip on contract with in 6 months the screen started lifting ,the screen started to bubble on the fold ,i tried for months to get this sorted out ,to be told screens are not covered under warranty! They wanted £400 to replace screen ! After extensive research on these phones it seems many others have the same issue and samsung and sky know all about it and still sell these phones to unsuspecting customers,i wish I'd never got the phone, owing £600 still then they expect £400 to fix a faulty phone ! I will never ever purchase anything from sky again and I will definitely never touch another samsumg phone ,I paused payment on said phone to then be bombarded with 3 yes 3 different debt collection agencies pestering me daily by email phone calls as well as texts ! Mutli million pound businesses ripping people off daily is sickening and I cannot wait to leave,I will never recommend sky or Samsung to anyone! Absolute disgrace 0 customers services ! Stay well clear
Terrible service, terrible company.
Sky mobile used to be quite good, but recently has been getting worse and worse. In terms of the service, the reception is patchy at best. However, customer service is absolutely terrible. I recently rang them to negotiate a new deal and agreed to an offer that was presented to me. More than a week later and many, many hours spent trying to get it sorted, they have still not applied the correct offer and Sky are now threatening to charge me twice what we agreed.
Sky make it impossible to get through to customer support, trying instead to fob customers off with their completely inadequate online services.
Overall, Sky mobile is overpriced, poorly managed and I would avoid. Currently looking at better options elsewhere.
Falsly Advertising order for next day delivery
Chose Sky Mobile for my new contract after they stated on their site the Iphone was in stock and if you order by 9pm, they will deliver the next day for free.
After organising to work from home to receive the phone and having no communication, I contacted Sky via their chat function to be told all phones take 2 days minimum from ordering.
Sky are falsely advertising to get customers to choose them and then not sticking to their words.
Advisor don’t care and won’t help.
I have had multiple issues with my phone data ever since my phone was paid off and I’ve just gone to a sim plane with sky. I have been hung up on, forced off the phone call when the call got to 40 mins, tried to be forced to buy a new phone as they are saying it’s an issue with the phone, told I’d be called back which didn’t happen, passed on to multiple advisors to then be forced to repeat the same clarification questions and sometimes being told my answers weren’t correct yet they were correct for every other advisor. I feel as if you are on trying to solve an issue for too long and then they try and find any reason to get you off the phone so it doesn’t effect there resolve times. My issue hasn’t been resolved I have now gone nearly a month with having full signal but my data not working which is just not ok. The service at sky is simply appalling.
I have been with Sky TV for over 11…
I have been with Sky TV for over 11 years which makes me a platinum member was talked around about 18 months ago into going on to Sky mobile whar a major mistake. Recently my phone broke which is my business phone with all my contacts on I contacted sky who informed me they could not give me an actual date when they could get the phone fixed suggested that I went to one of their shops nearby however I was told that I could upgrade to the next phone to which I said I am not paying any additional costs or charges because it's not my fault that you cannot guarantee the phone on when it can be repaired.
The tele sales lady said oh no you will not pay, anything extra once we have got the phone back we will take off the credit agreement you will not have to pay anything so I agreed.
I was also told that they would be able to help me to get the data transferred from one phone to the other at their local shop. First of all the delivery was late due to not been sent out at the time it had been supposedly sent should have been a warning sign. When I got the phone I then took it to the local Sky shop here in Leeds to be informed by the manageress in No un certain terms why the was I sent to the shop when they don't do anything about transfer of data or anything else this was done in front of a shopful of customers I have never been so embarrassed. I was then told to go to Manchester which is my nearest Samsung shop to get the phone repaired and they would help compensate me for travel so I took the phone and picked it back up so two journeys at my cost plus two days off work plus also the days that I did not have the phone in service.
Just loss of earnings was over 320 pounds, as I said got the phone repaired returned it in the box given back to Sky I was then told that 212 pound had been taken off however still owed them 445 to keep the story long and short after many hours of trying to communicate with Sky I accumulate the fact that it has taken me well over 10 days on the phone hour by hour being transferred between one department and another. Nobody seems to know what the other department is doing it is total utter chaos I have had to see it legal advice because they threatened to charge me 445 for a phone that I no longer had.
On the 22nd of January I received after much arguing and email informing me that the credit agreement and everything had been cancelled and I had no further to pay. However on my next Drew payment in February 445 pounds was withdrawn from my account, I have now had to threaten them with the communication ombudsman I have had to contact my bank to cancel the direct debit. I have got texts emails confirming that the agreement had been cancelled and no further payment was required anybody seriously contemplating getting a phone do not use Sky mobile.
Their customer service is absolutely atrocious they cannot organize themselves you get past from pillar to post all with different scripts nobody knows what the other group or other department is doing.
As I said at the beginning of this review I have been a member of Sky for over many years but I will be certainly review in renewing any of my contracts with this company they are truly truly appalling.
Would give zero stars if possible
Would give zero stars if possible. Sky put up price two weeks after signing up for another year. Went to Smarty but they messed up and mixed up numbers being transferred. Smarty issue not sky. Daughter can’t get number back as don’t know where it is. Trying to cancel daughters sim but get passed through 3 different people and told to wait for a call. Assured it’s been escalated and to wait for call. Received letter it’s all been resolved so matter closed. Not so. No contact made and still being charged. Also Indian men at call centre treating me like a stupid woman with condescending attitude.
Dont bother with sky mobile.The…
Dont bother with sky mobile. The absolute worst customer services I have ever used, and thats saying something.
The problem is all of the time, every time you call them. Reading off a script and no people skills what so ever.
Sky mobile stay away
Do not use sky mobile they sent me a mobile never worked from delivery. They took the money for nearly a year. Out of my account I called them every week to pick the phone up and repair nothing ever happened. They took out over 500 pound and now the phone has been collected and the contract cancelled. But they refuse to pay my money back on one call alone I got passed to 15 people the customer service swore at me slammed phone down on me. Stay away from sky mobile I have now cancelled all of sky product.

Sky Mobile Customer Service is none existent
I left O2 and joined Sky Mobile. Following the transition period I had an issue with my mobile displaying the number from the new Sim card instead of my old number for which I had used the PAC code. I contacted SKY customer services via Live Chat and was promised a call back the following day. This was w/c 10th NOVEMBER 2025 - That is now 15 WEEKS ago. I have raised over 6 official complaints with SKY - Nobody replies. I have rung them and received a promise of a recall in 30 minutes after they've reviewed the issue, the call never happens. Sky are happy to take your money yet their customer service staff don't give a shit and are stealing a living, not focussing on the needs of the customer
