Disappointing

I was so disappointed from the beginning with these tights. On the website they say they have compression but they don’t. I was also lead to believe they were harder to snag/run. I’m wearing them on their first trip and they snagged on the first leg. On the website, the print looks like embroidery but it’s a cheap iron on. Very disappointed to have paid over $50 for these for them to not last one leg of a trip.

Wearing the first day and found that waist part and upper legs kept falling down.. they would be great with a better elastic band to help hold up the stockings. I prefer not to keep pulling up the stockings every 5 minutes.

Hi there
Thank you so much for your feedback. We really appreciate you taking the time to share your experience.
We’re sorry to hear that the fit didn’t feel secure for you. Our tights are designed to stay in place, so constant slipping definitely isn’t the experience we want for you. This can sometimes happen depending on sizing or body shape, and we’d love to help you find the best fit.
Feel free to reach out to us directly—we’d be happy to guide you on sizing or recommend a style that offers a more secure hold (especially for all-day wear.
Your feedback is incredibly valuable and helps us improve, so thank you again for sharing it with us.

Hi there, thank you for your feeback and I’m really sorry for the frustration.
It sounds like you may have received the lighter-compression style twice, which would explain why the material didn’t feel strong enough. For reference, all compression levels and fabric details are listed clearly in each product description on our website so customers can choose the level of support they prefer. Our CabinComfort tights offer stronger compression at 8–11 mmHg, while the JetSet tights are a lighter option at 6–8 mmHg. We developed both because some flight attendants want to really feel the compression, while others prefer a lighter, more flexible feel.
That said, we’re always here to help. Please email us your order number and a quick photo of what you received so we can look into this right away and make sure you get the pair that matches the level of compression you’re looking for.

I’ve been wearing tights for 13 years…

I’ve been wearing tights for 13 years as a cocktail server my tights ripped in the bikini area on the first wear after spending $45. I’m not happy.

Hi Tillana,
Thank you again for sharing your experience. We completely understand how disappointing it can feel when a pair of tights doesn’t perform as expected, especially on first wear.
A couple of days ago, we reached out privately to better understand what happened and asked for your height and weight. We request this information because fit and tension play a key role in how compression tights behave, particularly in the bikini/crotch area. Without these details, it’s unfortunately difficult for us to determine whether the issue may be related to sizing, body tension, or another factor.
We would still be happy to review your case and explore possible solutions with you if you feel comfortable sharing this information. Either way, we truly appreciate your feedback and thank you for taking the time to share it.

Warmly,
The SkyTights Team

But if you want to waste your money…

I was hoping to really love these tights because a fellow crew member told me about them. But I got about 2 wears out of them until a dreaded run. How can you charge $45 for a single pair of tights and your customer gets 2 wears out of them!? Not worth the money, I would never purchase again.

Hi Yukie,
Thank you for your message and for sharing your experience.

After reviewing your order history, we noticed that your first order was a size 3, while the most recent order was a size 1. This difference in sizing explains why the pair felt shorter, the waistband rolled down, and the tension appeared in the toe area.

We kindly recommend reviewing your order history to ensure you select the same size for future orders, as the right size is key for comfort and durability.

Thank you for your understanding 🤍

Second purchase

Very comfortable for long days. I like the selection of shades. I Went up one shade.
I find Jet set durable considering how light the denier is. Shipping was slow, hope to see other online suppliers.

Disappointing Product and Customer Service – A Waste of $40+

As a private flight attendant, I depend on reliable, professional brands that understand the demands of frequent travel. Unfortunately, Skytights has been the worst experience I’ve had with any company in this space.

They expect customers to purchase tights based on size and color—without the ability to try them on—and yet enforce a strict no-return/no-exchange policy once the item is tried. I followed their sizing chart exactly, and what I received was a poor fit, an inaccurate color match, and a material so flimsy I was afraid it would rip just pulling them up.

When I contacted customer service to request a simple exchange, I was told no—because I had tried them on. How else is someone supposed to determine if tights will work without trying them?

This was a complete waste of $40+, and their refusal to honor even a basic level of customer satisfaction is unacceptable. Other brands in this industry offer far better service and flexibility—Skytights falls far short. I will be advising my entire flight attendant network to avoid this company altogether.

Hi Kia
Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear the tights didn’t meet your expectations. As with premium hosiery brands like Wolford, Falke, or Fogal, we follow a strict no-return policy on worn items due to hygiene reasons — this is standard across the industry.

Before the return, we did cover the shipping cost and kindly asked that you review our policy, which is clearly stated on our website. Our sizing guide has been developed with care and used successfully by many flight attendants worldwide, but we understand that sometimes things don’t work out perfectly.

We’re always here to help guide you with sizing and shade support before purchase — and we truly appreciate all feedback as we continue improving.
