Whoever MI is said I’m not allowed to…

Whoever MI is said I’m not allowed to say they didn’t try on my other review - excuse me but I’m free to say what I want and all of what I’ve said is true! You and your team are incompetent and just immoral humans.

Stayed at Aequora Lanzarote from 15–19 August in a family suite. Had the worst experience in among all my travels. Want to give it a minus star but Google forces a 1.
Standing as a 4 star resort we expected to have a great time at this hotel but they with a manager whose favourite line is we cannot meet your expectations what can one expect?
Check-in and key information
The lady who checked us in ran through a bunch of information quickly but failed to tell us that there was a restriction on dinner timing and that we needed to come back to reception for towels (really silly because there is a cabana next to the pool). They didn’t tell us that all inclusive had different levels. How can it when literally in the name is ALL!!!
Room and upkeep
The air conditioning didn’t work when we arrived. We had to call reception multiple times to have someone come to our suite. The technician showed us the air filters. Yuck!!!!! 🤢 He himself was shocked at how disgusting it was. This should be taken care of before we arrived.
Dining
The restaurant experience was the worst of the lot.
Our purple wristband was for the early time so we should go back to reception to get a red band. These guys love reception a lot. Why didn’t she tell us at check in when she told us what the whole dinner slot was? Waste of time.
This buffet restaurant doesn’t know how to cater vegetarian food. In fact if you have any allergies I recommend not going here at all because they just don’t want to try. There was no labels for any of the food. Paella couldn’t be made veg - it’s rice based. Are you kidding me? They’re not proud enough of their culture to care. Some of the staff were helpful but others were downright appalling.
Customer Service - non existent
We raised these issues directly with the customer service manager. He came to have a conversation in our suite. He was defensive at every turn. Eventually, after speaking with the GM, he gave us a meal that evening fixed at 7.50pm. Told us we could go by 8pm to the one à la carte restaurant for one meal. We said they have limited food to which he said they can make something off menu for us.
The head waiter at the restaurant was so up himself. When we arrived at 8pm he showed us his watch and said it’s 8pm. He said we have other reservations you know. That restaurant had three tables occupied that evening and that was less than 50% occupancy. This did not increase when we passed by later. The manager told us 8pm was fine but didn’t convey to his own staff. They were so rude we left without eating. What an embarrassment for the hotel. We had to spend €80 outside having dinner even though we paid for all inclusive.
The customer service manager told us he was going to ask us to leave as he cannot meet our expectations and refund us. On an island like that the prices of another hotel last minute even he knew would be extortionate and said so himself. I said to him we will leave if you kick us out and wanted it in writing. To which he changed his tune and said it’s because we’re unhappy and not getting what we need there. When speaking he constantly interrupted any one of us. We let him complete his sentences but he could not afford us the same courtesy. What service is this? Threatening us to go and then saying no it was just an option means you will say anything. You weren’t even willing to try.
I hated it so much I was happy to return home. Wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Don’t go if you want to relax.

Also main review?? This is not secondary to someone else. This is an individual review. You don’t even know how to treat an individual as one person. What customer service can you provide?

Best hotel in Lanzarote

This hotel is amazing and has
everything you want for a great
holiday. I have been 3 times and
enjoyed it so much that I'm already
looking to book for next year. The
staff are amazing, very kind, nice and
friendly, especially Francesca, Patrycja and Antonio, who went that extra mile to make our holiday so special. The hotel is in a great location near the beach and shops. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Not impressed
Food ok but no variety same every day
Quality was ok
Room odd open plan bathroom sink with only mirror above with two sockets and hairdryer above water tap Highly dangerous we thought.
toilet and shower open plan frosted glass could be a problem with shy teenagers
Two tvs one hand set
Would be good to have had a mirror above dressing table could take one of the tvs away
Who watches two tvs on holiday ?
Entertainment was good but not a fan of drinks in plastic cups lots of spillages by children running around only a few tables in the venue seating is in rows for shows.
Pools cold but personally ok in October
Cleaning could be better our floor was never swept mirror always looked dusty
Wouldn’t return

Great hotel, beautiful location, friendly staff - resulting in wonderful holiday

Have just returned from our holiday and can honestly say we have had the best time. The staff across all areas are so friendly and helpful. The kids entertainment and mini disco was so interactive and my granddaughter loved every minute. Anas and Francesca are so happy and engaging with the children and definitely deserve a special mention. Everywhere was kept beautifully clean. We were half board and we were pleased with the variety and quality of the food. The location to the beach was perfect. What a wonderful time we spent here and will definitely be returning. Well done everyone at Sentido you are doing a great job.

Can’t fault a single thing about this…

Can’t fault a single thing about this holiday. The rooms are gorgeous, immaculately clean and well equipped. The food is the best we’ve ever had on holiday with loads of choice. There is so much to do whether you have children with you or not. Also pools to suit everyone. We used the children’s all the time as we had our 2 year old grandson with us. Staff are excellent too. Good entertainment, play park, theatre, kids club. Will definitely come back

fabulous holiday beautiful friendly staff ❤️ very clean standards there is nothing I could ever say bad on this hotel appointments they were beautiful we've just got back from our family holiday and honesty is second to none as one night we left our appointment to go out and my partner didn't close our door properly I was shocked when we returned but on entering it nothing was touched and nothing was gone I prase this place very much the food was very good and also the entertainment and the childrens entertainment was second to none to my grandson loved it the team on the kids entertainment was fantastic all of them were extremely great and I will definitely be returning next year thankyou to you all for our amazing holiday and all the staff at this beautiful hotel apartments 😀

Lovely clean hotel well positioned by…

Lovely clean hotel well positioned by coat lovely walks up and down coast.
Food was lovely plenty to choose from.
Staff ok some friendly some grumpy.
Down side was the children’s bed was a temporary metal fold up one
Had to que for meals and wait for table
People still put towels on sun beds to reserve very annoying

1st time here - 10night All inc plus 29th Feb-10th March

1st time here on a 10night All inc plus 29th Feb to 10th March and what can I say, ALL the staff including Reception - Restaurants - Bars - Cleaning -Animation were Brilliant, friendly and always helpful. (too many to name).
We asked, owing to personal issues for a room change and were accommodated without any fuss although we had to wait for the new room option from our block 4 to block 5 to be checked out on Sunday but no problem.
The rooms are very well maintained and modern with everything you-needed, Our A/I + was Brilliant.
The whole complex is kept immaculate.
No issues with quality of the food, ( been on many A/I holidays and this is up there for quality ) multiple options to suit everyone and yes, its not always mad hot but it is a buffet style restaurant and there are plenty of live food cooking areas, we managed with no problems and never heard any complaints or moans.
No complaints with drinks at the bars but on A/I+ still never heard issues when on just A/I with quality.
Only downside is there are a few steps within the complex but there is a walk round perimeter area.
All in All a Brill holiday, Thanks to Everyone at Sentido.

Total lies

just seen the reply and what a load of ballcocks, these opening hours apply in height of summer not off peak. 2 other things when we arrived we were sent to completely the wrong building for our room and when we were due to leave our safe had been locked and we had to get someone in to open it to release our money and passports after paying 12 euros for safe for 4 nights. If my complaints are unfounded why did they leave sparkling white wine, 2 small bottles of red and wrapped fresh fruit in our room and invite us to dinner in the a la carte restaurant and drinks in the Nemo Bar, non of which were included in our stay. which by the way we didnt accept
