Excellent prompt service and beautifully crafted slate works. We wanted a rounded shape hearth and Ben has made and detailed the hearth exactly as requested; when in the shop we couldn't resist treating ourselves to a lovely Welsh slate sculpture, we love it. Most recently Ben has made us a Welsh slate number plate for my mother's new home, it's stunning and my mother is delighted with it. All very efficient thank you Ben.

Had our first house sign from Slate Workshop 14 years ago, and now we wanted another! Ordered on a Sunday via Facebook and it was all ready for collection on Thursday! Great quality, friendly and efficient service - what else could you want!!

Our Welsh slate house sign with gilded lettering looks absolutely wonderful. Ben was very responsive, sent a variety of designs to choose from and worked with us until we had exactly what we wanted. We enjoyed the commissioning process and love the result.

These guys produced a trophy for a school in Leicestershire and it was brilliant and captured the theme of the trophy which was 'Adventurous Learning'. Very pleased with it.

This is the third time that Ben has made slate signs for our holiday properties. Two for our self-catering flats in Brixham and more recently a much larger sign for the block of flats where our flats are situated - Dolphin Court. The owners are delighted with its classy appearance.

Within 40 minutes of emailing Ben about a small memorial slate, he emailed me three mock-ups and told me the price for the slate. When I phoned him, he answered my questions and gave me the advice I needed. The slate arrived extremely well packaged and was even better than we'd expected.

I was so impressed with the workmanship and service I have used this company on several occasions. We have our house name on a slate above the stove on our kitchen and Ben also made our house number. The slate is simply beautiful, engraving flawless and price very reasonable for the quality and service provided.
