Cracked UP…
I went to the painful process of having to replace my adjustable mattress with a new mattress. They refused my requests because of a small stains and it was unusable to the breakdown of the mattress.
I now can fully understand why the owner admitted to having a Crack Cocaine address, because the entire company is Cracked up as well!
Worst Customer service ever!
Ordered field crest pillows on June 14. Was to be delivered on June 17. No show. Called on 18 and was told order would be shipped that day. Did not arrive on 18 so called on 19. Was assured I would get them by 24th and would receive an email with a tracking #. Did not get the tracking number so I called today (23). And now was told after being on hold for 5 minutes that there is NO STOCK ON THE PILLOWS!!!🤬 The worst customer service ever.
Sleep Country Warranty is a fiasco.
Had bought this "special chiropractic design" mattress on the advice of the salesman. It supposedly had a ten year warranty.
Within 2 years a ridge formed and has been getting worse.
Customer service at Sleep Country is appalling. There is a call centre that responds and not the warranty team and they have little or no power to affect anything. I feel like I was scammed.
I have taken countless photographs for the warranty requirements and each time they are not good enough and ask for more. They don't understand what I am saying and are aggressive and unhelpful
Stay away from Sleep Country
I placed an order for pillows online. I paid with visa and got an order number. They claim they cannot find the order. They are now sold out of these particular pillows. When I asked for a refund, I was told I can’t get one because they can’t find the order. I asked for a supervisor and they refused that as well. I have disputed the charge with Visa and they are taking care of it for me. This company has terrible customer service.
Customer service is a laugh!
Contacting customer service is a painful process. First call, I was referred to the manual, which was fine. I asked a friend to crawl under the bed to disconnect the power three times as we attempted to pair the remote, the process failed three times. On the second call, I reported this to customer service, only to be told to crawl under the bed and try to pair it again. When I told him that I was 86 and couldn't do that. I was told to call someone. When I reiterated that I had already had someone pair the remote three times and did not see the need, he first told me that their policy was to have the customer do it again. Then, after a short discussion, he reluctantly agreed to contact the manufacturer. He said that I should hear from them in several businesses days. The "customer service" strategy appears to be to frustrate the customer to the point where they give up. Customer service could improve by actually providing service as opposed to this circus. If Sleep Country doesn’t provide any service, they should say so up front and provide the address of someone who does!
Mattress Didn’t Last, and the Warranty’s a Joke.
We bought what we thought was a quality mattress. After just one year, the body impressions were over 4 cm deep — and I weigh under 120 lbs!
We were told that any stain voids the warranty, which we understood, but the inspection was ridiculous!!!
They placed the mattress in direct sunlight and examined it inch by inch for ANY sign of discoloration.
I called customer service and, yep, even slight changes in fabric tone from normal use or exposure to light can disqualify you!!!
So basically, unless your mattress is kept in a vacuum-sealed bag, don’t expect the warranty to apply after a few years.
They should just admit the warranty is meaningless.
Do not buy a mattress at Sleep Country
Do not buy a mattress at Sleep Country! My mattress sags and I almost roll off of it. I am only 120 lbs so i don’t understand why it is failing on either side but they say that this is “normal wear”. I have had to place a blanket along the top sides to support it so I do not roll off! I will never ever purchase from them again! The worst warranty customer service ever! Very unfortunate for such a large company!
Don't ever buy from them
Don't ever buy from them. Quality is garbage and when you try to claim warranty they just keep going back and fourth making you jump through hoops so as to not fulfill the warranty. I had sharp 3" springs protruding through my mattress side wall. Mattress was not used in spare room and still couldn't get a warranty claim pushed through. I eventually gave up and will never buy any products from there ever. Terrible quality, terrible waranty, terrible customer service
Don't trust their "warranty"
I purchased a Kingsdown Acton mattress a year and a half ago. 6 months into ownership, I noticed sagging and less support. My back started hurting and called into sleep country to make a claim on my "10 year warranty" the impression is about 1" deep, I provide all the pictures and it is deemed "not a defect" as they believe the impression is not 1". fast forward to now, a year later. The impression is now well over 2" deep and I cannot sleep without back pain. I made a claim and wait 2 days, they reply with "we need an additional picture of the top of the mattress". I provide that and 2 days later, the claim is denied as there is "no defect" due to the frame. I used the same images of the frame for the last claim which the issue was that the impression was not deep enough. They now make me wait an extra 2 days and finally let me know after I call them that the frame is inadequate. The slats are 3" inches apart... the woman on the phone tells me nothing can be done and it will not be warrantied. Now, I'm out of a mattress after a year and will need to buy a high end mattresses. They lost my business for life.
Additionally, every sleep expert and in-store salesman I talked to assured me that my warranty would go through and to just buy the mattress now and they will apply the credit once the warranty is approved. All they want to do is sell and provide as little customer service possible. Bunch of crooks.
I was actually planning to buy 3 more mattresses for my new house and priced them out to about $11,000 which they just lost out on.
Never buy from Sleep Country.
My friend's purchase of a down duvet
My friend purchased a down duvet from the Richmond Hill location -110000 Yonge St. Unfortunately, after some time, it became defected. We returned it back to Alex (store manager).
Alex quickly honoured the company warranty and not only replaced it, but also matched the discount when the item was purchased on a Black Friday sale.
Excellent Service and much appreciated!
Warranty Frustration!
An absolutely, incredible, frustrating system that they have for online warranty claims. Sleep country will, according to the email sent to me: "The manufacturer's warranty WILL COVER IMPRESSIONS OVER 0.75". Twice, I have had to file for an online claim for the same King Size, Bloom, mattress that is only three years old Not only does it have a 1" impression, but it is very lumpy and uncomfortable to sleep on. Both times, I clearly followed their instructions for measuring and I clearly showed an impression of 1". They said both times that "The measurement shown in the picture reflects a normal body impression that occurs with use! How, and who, decides that 1" is less than 0.75", TWICE?? Who hired the person that tried to solve this simple math problem? Now, the only recourse is to have to order an in-home inspection and pay $50 plus tax for them to take the same measurement. Now get this, the fee is non-refundable if Sleep Country has made a mistake and the mattress should be covered under warranty!
The entire process has been so frustrating! Taking more and more pictures that they demand of the same problem, stripping down the bed over and over, having to lift the mattress, prove that the tags are still on the bed, taking pictures of the frame.
My advice to anyone reading this... DO NOT buy from Sleep Country. I am giving 1 star because I can't leave less than one star or a negative star. Save yourself the hassle, go somewhere else.
Update: On May 29th, Sleep Country charged me for the In-home Inspection, $50 plus taxes, non-refundable. Today is June 13th. No one has called to book the inspection with me. I had to call and ask what was happening. It seems that a separate company does the inspections, and they will contact me. We'll see how long that takes...... it took SIX WEEKS. The inspector, using a different method of measuring, determined that the depression was 1.5", 1/2" more than I had measured. However, my measurement was still in the threshold of warranting that the mattress needed to be replaced.
I was told by BeBe at Customer Service today (July 29th), that it WOULD definitely be replaced. What an incredible nine weeks this has been. It would have been better to get a mattress somewhere with a better return policy. However, we must exchange the mattress, as there is no refund.
Customer Service is a JOKE
Simple remote failure
Not covered by warranty OK
Will arrange for the purchase of a remote Great
6 months later 15 emails of apology 2 emails requesting positive feedback
To many placating LIES and PROMISES to count
CHRISTINE McGEE you should be ashamed of going on TV and bragging about Sleep Country and fire these morons unless of course you condone this behaviour
SHAME SHAME SHAME
Warranty Claim
I dropped into Sleep Country on West Broadway in Vancouver to replace a Temperpedic mattress protector.
I was assisted by Chaz. I inquired about the warranty on it - he was very helpful and instrumental in honouring the warranty.
Thank you Chaz! You made the experience pleasant and seamless!
Worst of the worst
One star is in order to write this review, otherwise it is minus or simply zero
Worst of the worst customer service on following up on claims, customers should forget service, forget getting any help from this company, there will be NONE !!
Take your business elsewhere and don’t buy anything from them, they should be shutdown years ago.
Sleep Country at Merivale Road, Nepean, ON Sales person Miguel.
My wife and I wish to thank you for a very positive experience at Sleep Country, Nepean. Sales person Miguel was very helpful to us in choosing the right mattress and box spring. We didn't feel rushed. Much appreciated.

One of the Worst Customer Service Experiences – Avoid if You Can
One of the Worst Customer Service Experiences – Avoid if You Can
I had an extremely frustrating experience with Sleep Country and would not recommend them to anyone expecting even basic customer service.
I placed an order for a mattress and received an order confirmation email with a delivery date, but then... nothing. No tracking number, no updates — absolutely zero communication from their end. I had to call customer care multiple times throughout the day just to get any kind of update.
Eventually, I received an email from the shipping company with tracking info — only to have it later cancelled without explanation.
When I called customer care again, the agent had no clue where my order was. After some digging, they told me that the shipping company didn’t even pick up the mattress, which is why it was cancelled. Even worse, the agent couldn't tell me when it might be shipped again. On top of that, their tone was completely unprofessional and dismissive — not what you'd expect when you’re trying to resolve a failed delivery.
The whole process was disorganized, stressful, and completely lacking in accountability. For a company that markets itself on good service and sleep expertise, this was a total let down.
Sleep Country — if you care about your customers, you need to seriously fix your logistics and how your support team communicates. Until then, I’m warning others: buy elsewhere.
Bought a new Casper adjustable bed
Bought a new Casper adjustable bed, delivered on a Tuesday stopped working completely on Sunday, Customer Service kept me on hold for 30 minutes and I finally hung up. Do yourselves a favour buy somewhere else.
Very satisfied.
We purchased a twin king recliner from SC in Stouffville. When we went to research available products we spoke with several retailers but found that Sasha was, by far, the most knowledgeable andhelpful. He spent considerable time understanding our needs, reviewing options, and ensuring that we would be getting a product that fit our needs and budget. The C price was very competitive in a confusing market.
We purchased from SC and the installation went as smoothly as promised. The delivery team did the set up and cleared the packaging quickly and within the time slot promised.
So far the bed meets our expectations as promised.
Thanks you Sasha for a great job.
Pillow and Customer Service Dissatisfaction
I shopped for a pillow. I was given around 6, however the sales person did not stay around to assist me in my choice. I chose a down pillow. I’ve had it for two days and every time I wake up, I have to fluff it up. It gets flat and get hard. I mentioned to him that my previous pillow would flatten out and hard, but he never mentioned anything about the down pillow until I phoned him about another matter. Apparently there is currently a sale on, buy one get another one in the specific group of pillows free. He had never mentioned that to me. Also, the pillow is a final sale. Online, it says you have 30 days to try it out. Not a good experience. I won’t be back.
