Slide Reviews 

I have wasted so far 6.5 hours in trying to install the new slide. My rail system for the wave shape curtains is not compatible. I had to make adaptations to my rails to make space, in order to be able to mount the ends of the curtains to the slide system I even had made from steel wire special hooks, and twice after having mounted the whole system I was unable to complete the installation. I was able to see the slide on my network but the app to complete the process did not find and did not recognize it when entering the IP-address.
The first reach out to Robbshop took them 4 days to reply with a question back to me. I have replied a few days later after having tried again to install and no reply over the last 4 days. My appetite in the Slide is gone and I want to return both and refund.
Please, have a good check whether your rail/curtain system is compatible. Take your time to watch / read the installation video / instructions.
Please also be aware that Slide system requires a power outlet to connect to. This is nowhere really described.

Slide pro is very nice and works like charm. 5 stars.
Few suggestions though:
1) if it can also include a remote control, that would be great. I have the curtain in the bedroom and i don't like to take my phone with me when i am sleeping.
2) if the programs in the app for opening and closing the curtain can be paused. the app only allows programs to be active or be deleted.

I first started with Slide in our bedroom and now all our curtains are Slide-moved. We love it. Together with voice activation (Google Home) it is wonderful.

Have the slide for a number of years already.. Really love the product. Does what it is supposed to do... the touch and go definitely a plus. Also great to put in a holiday mode closing my curtains as if we are home..

We use 5 slides for many years and now we had our first problem with one. They gave us detailed advice and repaired it for free. Really great help!

I never write a review, positive or negative..
But i have to say that my experience with the slide customer service is nothing but great. I have the slide for almost 3 years and experienced only 2 problems. One problem occured when i installed a new mesh network and the slide kept disconnecting. They installed a beta update and it worked like before. And recently my slide didn't work anymore.The motor made a strange noise.
contacted the customer service and i was allowed to send my slide in for repair even when it was out of warranty. Great service.

This is a great device to be added to any household! I owe 3 such motors, the installation is very versatile, it can be fitted to any type of curtains and rails.

As a smart home enthousiast, I was looking for a way to open my curtains, when I came across Slide. It looked like a well built product, designed by people who clearly put some thought in it.
I immediately joined the Indiegogo campaign and ordered multiple Slides. Enough for my whole house.
At the end of December 2019 I recieved my long anticipated Slides and when I opened the box, I could tell that this was a quality product.
I have been using them every day and they have worked perfectly all this time.
A while back, one of the power adapter broke. When I contacted Slide, they immediately sent me a new one without any cost.
In short, they have a great product and great customer service. I really recommend Slide and if your are looking for this type of product, please try Slide.

Unfortunately, after 2.5 years, the wire broke off, fortunately they provide excellent service and our slide is now being repaired!

I have been using 4 Slides for more than two years now. I really like them: simple installation, and closing and opening is automatic. That gives a pleasant, safe feeling. Recently, one of the four (depending furthest from the WiFi point) gave trouble. The engine made itself heard at regular intervals, as if it had to get to work, but didn't know what to do. He did that several times an hour and that is disturbing. Contacted the Service Desk. Tiko replied very quickly and kindly asked for the Slide's name so he could view the issue remotely. After I gave it, he, again remotely, updated the firmware. The problem was solved with that. I am very satisfied.

I've been using slides for a couple of years now. I wanted to make my curtains smart to make my house look inhabited during holidays. However my wife made it mandatory to use the current curtains that were selected very carefully. With the app, the installation was quite easy and since then the slides have been working perfectly.

The best part about slide is that they always work, even with very heavy curtains, and that they're completely invisible.

I'm really happy with them, highly recommended!

I've been using my Slides (2 of them) since beginning of 2020 and they are great. Just great. They have always worked and worked well.
It's still a bit "magical" that the Slides open and close my main and lace curtains with just a single command.

The Slide is quite expensive in comparison to other "smart" or home automation devices but it definitely proves their worth by the quality of the device and it just keeps working without a problem.
I also really like that the Slide easily integrates with Home Assistant, which makes it easy to have it become part of my whole home automation.

If anyone needs home automation for their curtains, I don't hesitate to recommend Slide.

Great product with even greater after-sales support. Due to a move one of the components of one of my six in total slides broke. After speaking to Tiko about it, he sent me a new pulley including instruction how to replace it. All free of charge and fast. Very good product, easy to install and to configure and very good after sales support when you do have an issue.

I have 5 Slides and am very happy with them. Works perfectly, is easy to install yourself on your existing rails and to operate via the app. I hardly hear the motors. The routines that can be set in the app are very easy so that you don't have to worry about them. Also ideal during holidays.
The service is great. Answer the same day by email, thoughtful and friendly. This is highly recommended.

Really cool product, very easy to install. Does the job well.
The only MAJOR minus is that it is not working with Siri at least as out of the box solution. There is a workaround but not for regular users like myself.

I does what it says to do, move my curtains when I want to. I control it with a flic button, works very well by IFTTT. Easy to install (so easy that it was hard to understand from the beginning)..

After having bought one Slide during the kickstarter phase I ordered another one from the store a year later. I am extremely happy with both. I have heavy curtains downstairs, but the Slide handles them with ease. Installation was a breeze with clear instructions in the app and support videos.

I use homebridge to make them available in Apple homekit, but i understand that Homekit support is on the way this summer.

Awesome home automation for your curtains.

I was searching for a way to automate my curtains and found several options amongst Slide.
After carefully researching i choose for Slide as it had good reviews, easy to install and for a decent price.

Currently we're using the slide for about 4 months and we are very happy with it, even my wife, which was questioning why, "we don't need it" is excited.
She even suggested to buy it for our living room (which we did).

Installing can be easy, but for curtains that are heavy it can be more pain to get it right.
The tip is to make sure that your curtains don't touch the ceiling, so it doesn't give extra friction and the curtains go to the sides easily.
The hardest part, depending on how much room you have, is to get the curtain brackets in the start and end connectors, but other then that we're very happy with it.

So yes i would recommend this product.

Slide is very easy to install. I was one of the first users and it still works like a charm. There are also updates to improve the functionality or features. It is also quite user-friendly in re-installing the slide if you want to change curtains or during moving. I even use Slide for my curtain panel, which it is originally not made for, but with some few adjustments it also works! The app also works like it should, I did not encounter any bugs or something. It works perfectly with Google Home or with Alexa via IFTTT. Since I had no issues with anything I cannot really say anything of the Customer Support, but they provide a lot of information with the newsletter and on the website
