Excellent service and communication

We've ordered some parts for two pairs of rollers for inline skating, and the service was excellent. They sent the package really fast, and it was really well protected. They were also really good during our communication via email and phone.

Highly recommended and we will buy from them again.
Thank you.

Got there in the end

So I ordered some Ennui BLVD shorts from sliding tiger. As you may know if you've ever tried to look for them [in the recent past at least], these can be a right pain in the butt to find if you're from the UK. I contacted Sliding Tiger and asked if they were in stock - they were. I then ordered them, and was told delivery time was 4 days max.

Long story short, I wrote an email to Koen saying that I would be cancelling the order if they weren't dispatched pronto [it'd been maybe a week since I ordered them and no dispatch confirmation.] He dispatched them that afternoon, saying that they did not have them in stock when I first asked but they would not be difficult to import from Germany, normally taking a day or two at most. Due to complications with the delivery from Germany, they took a bit longer.

My only gripe is that when I asked whether they had them in stock, he said that they did when they didn't. If they had said 'no but we can get them in within the next few days', then I would not have said a thing and would happily have waited without a word. So I am saying this for Sliding Tiger's sake really - If you don't have something in stock but can get it, don't say you have it, just tell them how it is! If you are upfront with people then they won't give a darn if things take a little while to dispatch, people will understand shipping delays and such. If on the other hand you say you have something, but it takes ages to ship, then people will smell a rat right off.

All in all, other than the slight deception, delivery was all good and customer service was top notch. If I'd been told that the item wasn't in stock but could be ordered shortly then I'd have bought them anyway and given 5 stars all the same. Still and all, very happy with the product and the staff are very helpful.
