This is crazy

This is crazy. I just realized them been billing me for months!!! I only have one subscription in my Apple app and it’s not this. Why does it not show? Also I can’t find any emails or correspondence from this company.
When I did finally contact them they immediately said they canceled my subscription. I couldn’t find my account? So What email are they using?? What app?? Just mind blowing. Their criminals.
I am filing a dispute but it’s kind of hard when they want proof you canceled the subscription when you can’t even locate the email that was used.

Yes, the refund from the 12th was processed and received. I was charged AGAIN on the

Signed up for the app a year ago

Signed up for the app a year ago, its not very good stopped using it then got a charge for renewal without any notification and refusal of refund. Very underhand and it transpires it has previous for this with negative reviews overwhelmingly criticising the app for aggressive, misleading, or unexpected subscription charges difficult cancellation processes.
If you have no recourse why not go into the app and leave ratings as they do not have enough ratings on Apple Store. This company continue to lie. It was PayPal that upheld my case not them that discovered there mistake and made a refund. A shoddy company don't waste your money or time.

I agree with ALL reviewers who spoke out about SlimKit's impossible cancellation issues. When I originally subscribed to SlimKit in 2024, I realized that the "service" wasn't as described and not worth the ongoing cost, so I attempted to cancel before my "trial" was up but wasn't able to easily do so. I grew SO frustrated, I just cut bait, deciding to write it off and let the subscription run out. When it did, SlimKit never notified me about renewal, and did NOT ask permission to bill my AMEX acct...SlimKit just went ahead and charged me. Wow. AMEX notified me with FRAUD ALERT and blocked the charge. They totally had my back and clearly has a record w/ SlimKit. I am committed to spreading the word about bad practices of SKIM-KIT!

Awful customer service

Awful customer service. No courtesy to say that your subscription is coming up for renewal. Then if you don’t cancel which they depend on they charge you for something you don’t want. One may forget they have a subscription a year later. Now their name is Verv Inc. So confusing as their emails are slim fit and Verv. The charges come through as Verv. I would have been happy with a partial refund not a theft of 70 dollars! The app itself is ok. Nothing special for sure!

Ethically bankrupt

1 star (and that’s generous)

I downloaded the SlimKit Walking App three years ago and paid an additional $70 at the time. I barely used the app and, like many people, did not realize that this purchase involved a recurring annual charge unless I proactively canceled.

The following year I was charged again through PayPal auto-billing, which I unfortunately didn’t catch. When I was charged again this year, I noticed it immediately and contacted SlimKit the very next day.

I was not asking for a refund of past years. I asked only for a refund of the most recent charge — the one I caught immediately.

Their response was not that they were unable to refund it, but that they were unwilling to do so, hiding behind policy technicalities instead of exercising reasonable customer service discretion.

This company does not provide customer service. They rely on auto-renewals and rigid policies to keep money from users who are not actively using the app.

I wish I could rate them minus 5 stars instead of being limited to one.

Slimkit is so sleazy

Slimkit is so sleazy. Google describes them: Many users report aggressive, misleading, and difficult-to-cancel subscription practices that feel like a scam. These issues include unexpected charges and poor customer service when attempting to get a refund or cancel a subscription. Report the Issue: Consider reporting the issue to consumer protection bodies like the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) or the Better Business Bureau (BBB). Trial in August. Cancelled. Charged $89.99 in Nov. Good luck getting a hold of these people to get them to revert the charges.

Horrible company with deceptive charging

I tried the app and it wasn’t for me. I canceled the subscription and then months later I was charged almost triple for another subscription that I did not want nor approved. They refuse to refund the money knowing that I haven’t used their app. They have deceptive practices that charge you for another subscription without approval! Wasted $59.99 for nothing. The company is such crap they aren’t even on BBB to file a complaint.

I would rate them no stars if I could!!!!! I purchased plan in March. Never used the app. Attempted and thought I cancelled the app in June when it automatically renewed. Just got charges in September 18, 2025. They refused to refund money.
Piss poor customer service and another example of one time greed than building customer capacity for the future. DO NOT USE THIS FAKE COMPANY!

Cannot Cancel- Company is now just stealing my money

Company will not cancel my subscription after multiple attempts and I have even reported them to my credit card as fraudulent charges.

I have cancelled through the app and via email- 6 different times...they will not stop charging me. I went to my bank to report them and got some money back, but the company continues to take my money.

I was a victim of the scam. They charge you and I wasn't using the app. I reached out for a refund and they declined it as they say their is a policy that I was not aware of. I wish I could give 0 stars! Please steer clear.
