No good!!!!

I would advise not using their services you will get double charged plus there is no customer service to resolve issues so if you use them it's a big risk should be shut down the worst experience!!!!

Sling is a scam

Sling is a scam. And has terrible customer service. On 10/25 | purchased a football game for 4.99. At my ailing father’s house for him. I did not join sling. I cannot access an account. I now have charges on my credit card for 11/01 of $50.99, 11/04 of 13.53 and 12/1 $65.99.
I asked for a refund. They stated they clearly could see I had not accessed any streaming or used my account but would not credit for all charges. You cannot reach anyone to talk to on the phone.

Complete scam

Complete scam. They offered a 4.99 one day pass. They changed me over $75. They fail to mention that the $4.99 one day pass signs you up for the $25 basic plan as well as the $45 orange plan plus the $4.99. And of course it is a $70 recurring fee that you aren't able to cancel. Customer service will hang up on you and you can't cancel online because the cancel button is forever grayed out. How are they allowed to stay in business?

If you wanna waste half your time on commercials

Sling has descent selection of entertainment, sports, everything you wanna mix and match. The down side is the time you are watching you will spending almost half the time watching commercials just as much as any show you wanna watch. Tonight I watch 6-7 mins of my show, 5-6 mins commercials 6-7, 5-6, back and forth. The only thing I use it for is to watch college football so when the games are playing they have to have the game on. Other than that I hate it and it’s way too expensive.

Sling tv needs to go back to actual…

Sling tv needs to go back to actual live agents that you can talk to. There chatbox is a joke! refered me to a Just answer tech cause it couldnt help. When I went to it there was a $5.00 refundable charge. So I had to put my card number in to go any further. Anyway the tech could not help me on the phone either so he gave me another phone number to call for assistance. So I called the number he gave me and it was a discontinued number. So here I am with absaloutly no help at all. This morning I'm looking at my banking and they charged me 70.00 for nothing!!!! Calling my bank today to see if I can get this transaction cancelled for fraud.

Sling acknowledges technical problems but refuses credits

Sling is the worst customer service and technology . So 1999, my tivo was better.
They have admitted that they have a technical problem that needs to be solved and "are working on it". However, they refuse to stand behind their customer experience. I was and am unable to enjoy sports that I paid for because of their own technical difficulties but sling refuses a partial refund or credit. So I am disputing the charge. Posting one star reviews everywhere I can find. And reaching out to lawyers I went to law school with to see if I can raise a class action lawsuit against them for all the sports shows that users cannot enjoy despite paying for the service. For $5 credit they could have had a supportive consumer and avoided this, but I tell everyone I know about this and hopefullyn sue them on behalf of thousands of customers who had the same problem. Do not buy anything from them if you expect basic capabilities of rewind and "start from beginning" ... They don't have it.

False advertising saying you get ESPN…

False advertising saying you get ESPN but when you pay and log-in you cannot watch the games. They are trying to blame ESPn but if that is the case why is it listed as viewable. Do not waste your money.

The service is not working

The service is not working. I paid for the 1 day orange package. The message is “not authorized to view this content”. I cannot get any live person to help or issue a refund. Chat service is terrible. Bait and switch in action.

Day pass for Orange but not Blue

I was excited to see that had a day pass, but it's only for Orange. I was willing to pay the 4.99 to watch the premier league game between Arsenal and Brighton. But it's on USA, which apparently is blue, so they told me I had to pay 29.99 for a month, just to watch one game. Support agent was quite rude as well. Such a scam.

Poor Customer Service

We signed up for their service and it worked alright. Had to restart the app and redownload it multiple times on my tv to use it. After trying to figure out how to cancel service and only finding a pause service option we did that. Never was able to reach a person on the phone at all on multiple occasions. After getting a notification that the pause would end and service restarted we had a charge attempt. We even responded to their notification that we didn't want it restarted. If it was easier to cancel online we would have. Good luck with that option. Its difficult on purpose so you can't cancel and then it's difficult to reach anyone to do it. Perfect little scam setup. Don't recommend them at all.

Buyer Beware – Trial Cancellation Still Resulted in Charges

I would not recommend Sling TV to potential subscribers. I signed up for the free trial, canceled it, and was still charged $38 for two consecutive months after cancellation.

When I contacted customer support, Sling refused to refund either month, citing “company policy,” even though I had not authorized continued service and had not actively used the account. There was no meaningful resolution offered.

If you are considering Sling, be highly cautious with the trial. Even if you cancel, you may still be charged and then told that refunds are not available due to policy. That risk alone makes this service not worth it.

The new menu format on Sling tv absolutely SUCKS. Searching the list of chls is a pain in the ass. When you do select a chl....there is a multiple choice selection of options as to what you want to do. WTH ? Who came up with this crap ? Oh wait.....I'll bet it was AI ! Maybe they'll make their money letting AI watch their programming. I'll start looking for a new streaming service.

Poor customer service

Poor customer service. Unwilling to issue refund when that automatically rebilled me and I didn’t watch. They claimed I watched but wouldn’t tell me what I watched. So they were lying. Customer services is a chatbot and they won’t let you speak to someone on the phone.

Save yourself the headache

Save yourself the headache. Negotiate with your cable provider or pay a little more for YouTube TV, Hulu Live or FuboTV. It's a shame that it has come to this with streaming, but stay away from Sling. I use them every football season and there's always something. Today, they decided to lock my local NBC and although I confirmed my home zip code, from home, it was still locked and I couldn't watch the game. I got a rep on the line "Francisco'. I told him exactly what happened with confirming my zip code and scanning the QR code, I expressed that I was "pissed" about missing the game and he termd the chat for profanity. Pissed is not a profanity. It's an expression of deep frustration. Nevertheless, I'm paid thru 1/7/2025 and will be promptly cancelling and never looking back. There's a reason they don't even have 2 stars on here. I guess they have a lot of "pissed" customers.

The worst customer experience ever

The worst customer experience ever! I signed up for the 1 day pass and got no extra channels. Then I tried to sign up for $19 pass and it disappeared and couldn't find it. Then I tried to sign up for the 50% off promo for the Blue and Orange package and it said I already redeemed it. Then I talked with support chat and they're asking for my home address and billing information. I already updated it for the $1 pass that didn't work. Then they ask what stations do I want watch and have to pick through 100 channels. I just wanted the freak'n Blue and Orange promo. I'm probably just going to pay the extra $20 per month and go back to you tube tv. Who ever designed this CX process should be fired.

Account Hacked and No Help from Support

I canceled my account in December 2024 because the fees kept increasing. All of a sudden in December 2025, I have a charge and an email that I reactivated my service, which I definitely had not. Email came at 8:30 am, contacted support at 10:00 am and was told I couldn't get a refund because I had used the service for 8 hours. How is that possible when the subscription was only active an hour and a half? Chat agent "hung up" on me since I asked for a supervisor and this was their policy. Received the same answer again (via chat because they have no phone number to call), except this time for only 4 hours of watching. They don't even have a valid card on file for me so the bank thinks it won't actually post. Very frustrating, watch your accounts!
