bought 2 tiny bottles, one was a gift, both had no scent once applies, 50.00 down the drain for 4 tsp total of no scent oil

Unbelievable selection of products with amazing shipping. I ordered a bunch of items to give as gifts. They all arrived on time and perfectly wrapped.
A favorite was the Glasshouse Reed diffusers. They smell amazing and are stylish.
MY NEW BEST FRIEND
I stumbled onto their site and fell in love. I spent 2 days (and nights) looking at some many things ( in every catergory) and I still don't think I saw it all. I made a list of everything i wanted to try..then had to downsize because of the volume. Received my box of goodies today..it was like Christmas. I had the best time opening everything. Fragrances, soaps, pastilles, bath gels, herbal tea, bathing mitts from Japan...I felt like I traveled the world. Germany, Italy, France, Portugal, Japan, Columbia. The shipping and packaging was perfect and considering the weather I feel like I got my package in a reasonable time frame. This shop and I are going to be VERY good friends.

I'm confused by the low reviews on this company. I had an issue with the product and they remedied it immediately. We need more companies with good integrity and I will be ordering from them again.
Very dissatisfied
Very dissatisfied. Second time buying my favorite perfume there and the second bottle was definitely expired. Smelled terrible. They would not refund or replace. I even sent the bottle back and they said all of their experts smelled it and said there was nothing wrong with it. My colleague also bought this perfume said it was certainly expired. The least they could do is replace it. My first bottle was fantastic …. Customer service just ghosted me.

I ordered toothpaste from them and they were fast with shipping my orders to me. The items in my box were carefully wrapped in bubble wrap which shows they are professional at this and they provided me with good services. Definitely ordering from her again!
Horrible company to work with
Working with this Company has been a terrible experience! As a fellow small business owner I understand when you create a label it will show as shipped and they do that in order to make it seem like they have actually shipped your items. But obviously my items are still sitting in there warehouse after a week in a half! TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE I will create my own vanilla fragrance before I ever buy anything from this company again . One of my rules for my own personal business is to ship either same day or next day so there is no way I could believe that there's a reason you would not ship my things within a 10 days.
Very slow shipping time and bad customer service
The only redeeming quality of this business is that they sell unique, hard-to-find items. However, their order processing speed and customer service are both garbage, and warrant zero stars. I have ordered from them twice, and both times it took them more than 1 week to even ship out my order. Then, since they ship via the slowest (and cheapest for them) option, you can plan on it taking an additional 7-10 days for your order to be received. In this day and age, taking 2+ weeks to receive an order is unacceptable. In addition, their inventory system is not up-to-date, and many items that show as being in stock on their website are actually not in stock, and they will not ship them to you once they come back in stock without making you pay again for shipping. Despite the fact that I like the types of items they sell, I will no longer be doing business with them, and will be sourcing my European toiletries elsewhere.

I have been looking everywhere to buy Santa Maria Novella perfumes as none are available in Canada.
Of course it is scary to drop $400.00 on a website that I didn't really know about - I read a few reviews and I was almost deterred by some of them.
I'd like to share to those that plan on purchasing from them about my (happy) experience.
Smallflower's pricing is excellent. Their customer service is superb - they responded to my emails very quickly. I called to place my order and the person helping me was so patient and kind.
The fact that they charge for the customs/duties beforehand removed the stress, anxiety, and any unwelcomed surprises.
The order arrived so quickly!! I was surprised to receive it today!

Great Products, Great Service
I'm a long time customer, purchasing a wide variety of products from these folks and have nothing but the highest praise for their merchandise, and their fast efficient shipping. We did have a minor problem caused by rough handling of a shipment and one call to customer service resolved the issue immediately. In these times of high stress on all mail order facilities its surprising and gratifying to find a merchant who still strives for perfection.
truly awful customer service
It's unusual these days to get truly awful customer service. Smallflower is apparently just playing at online sales, they're not serious.
I've written three times over several days: twice using their normal email address and once via the website form -- no reply or acknowledgement whatsoever.
Tried to place an $80 order with "free" shipping (advertised) but the website was adding another $8+ for shipping.
Apparently an $80 order from a repeat customer isn't worth Smallflower's attention.

The site was advertising free 2-day shipping on orders over $100. I placed an order of over $350 on December 18th. I got a shipping notification that UPS received the shipment information on December 19th and that my order was not to be delivered until December 29th!!!!!!!!!!!!!
10 days after my order certainly not 2 days. And it was a Christmas present. I contacted customer support and was told that it was my fault, that I had not chosen the expedited shipping. I made the "assumption" that it was a given since there were no instructions either on the front page nor on the order page to make sure that I chose the right option. Stupid me.
I should have used Amazon. I won't make this mistake again.
