Fraud

Someone managed to get into my bank account and deposited funds into an smarkets account! I asked them to look into this over a month ago. They don’t reply to my messages for days and then say they’re looking into it! Have some serious dodgey security system by the looks of things! You can deposit money into accounts using other peoples details!

Smarkets rely/target matched bettors…

Smarkets rely/target matched bettors to, match their markets. The way they treat them at times and screw them over with their reliance on them is.... can't be described with filters. Pathetic

5 minutes in to the France vs Spain match, I make a deposit to lay more potential bets. SUSPENDED!

5 Minutes in to a massive game they do this. There have been occasions in the other knockout games where I could have potentially been absolutely ****** by this. Pure luck I wasn't.

The suspension locks me out entirely, I can't even view my current bets.

Thank god Betdaq are improving so drastically, can't wait to not have to deal with these scummy lot again

Very Disappointed with Smarkets’…

Very Disappointed with Smarkets’ Handling of Matched Bet Issue

I placed a bet on a greyhound race on 7 July 2024, which was clearly marked as "matched" in my account, with the liquidity on the exchange reflecting my bet size. However, after the race, my statement suddenly showed the bet as unmatched, costing me my winnings. Despite multiple attempts to resolve this with Smarkets, including detailed explanations and evidence, they repeatedly insisted the bet was never matched and offered no meaningful solution.

This experience has seriously undermined my confidence in Smarkets. If bets can appear matched and then vanish when they win, it calls into question the reliability and fairness of the platform. Smarkets' handling of this situation has been disappointing, and I feel compelled to warn others about the potential risks of betting on this platform.

The back and lay odds on Smarkets have huge difference as compared to Betfair and sometimes there are no odds available in a middle of crucial time of your bet and it will have an option make your offer instead of actual odds which can cause losses as this affects trading in a high intensity match. Also betfair has AVB betting on horse racing where you can bet on 2 horse races against each other rather than betting on the whole horse racing event. Smarkets has lots of beating choices which is a good thing but then need to have a model exactly like betfair or even better than Betfair. Thank you

Awful servise from A to Z

I opened a few days a Smarkets account, and wanted very much to bet EURO 2024. So i deposited, at first they allowed me to deposit 1k EUR, and nothing more, i edited my limits but was nothing solved, as monthly limit is 550 eur, while daily is 10k EUR. Where is the logic? No where at Smarkets.. as even having 10k euro deposit limit dailly, monthly is 550 EUR.
I contacted numerous times on chat and they said will send me an email with required documents within 2 days, passed more than 4 days, no email to be found, no reply, and insanely bad service, customer support too. I lost precious time whish i could bet, dont use it! is not a empty complain, is the way they treat customers.
