Dan is polite, punctual, professional and very knowledgeable, creating the transformation in 3 days! His aftercare advice is extremely helpful and even offers ongoing support if needed.

Dan has the air of professionalism that many people don't! Polite, courteous and knowledgeable and 'got on with the job'. Once finished he tidied up the garden and took away all the debris leaving our garden so much better for his visit. Dan spent a long day in our garden tackling overgrown ivy, cutting back overhanging tree branches (such that the tree retained adequate foliage and thus our privacy), removing two mature Cordyline plants and emptying/refilling a raised bed for new planting.
All waste was removed such that the garden was left clean and tidy.
Front and back look so much better - thank you to Lucy for organising and to Dan for another great job.

We asked Smart Gardens to provide a quote to do the landscaping for a sensory garden we were planning for our students (adults with Learning Disabilities) at Barham. We'd been finding it difficult to get people to come out and provide a quote, but Smart Gardens came out and provided the quote within a couple of days. When it came to doing the work, they were really efficient, starting and finishing the work as promised. We were impressed with the quality of the work. Our students are looking forward to planting the gardens and having a beautiful outdoor space to enjoy. I would thoroughly recommend Smart Gardens.

Tree pruning: as always, punctual, thirough, neat and tidy. Everything cleared away and a good price.

What a fantastic team Smart Gardens are! Beyond excellent with nothing too much trouble. Friendly, hard working, knowledgable & efficient. They designed & installed a new driveway of about 80' x 12' of steel reinforced concrete laid in bays, laid excellent quality membrane to front garden with shingle overlay, laid new stone from the drive to front door, new stone path from top of driveway to back door & replaced lower patio with stone of the same design. Previously I had to tolerate minor floodings but not any more. They installed wire cages to resolve the problem and they have! If I were able I'd give them 8 out of 5 I would they're that good. I wholeheartedly recommend them. They are reliable, professional, hard working & totally trustworthy. Any other work I need or require will be directed to them.

I recently employed Dan to rip out my existing paving, lawn and pond and replace with porcelain paving and a new lawn and pond. The work was very labour intensive due to limited access, but the work carried out was of the highest standard and project managed brilliantly. My new outdoor space is fabulous and has generated loads of positive comments from friends and neighbours. The cost was also very competitive and thoroughly worth the outlay. Dan & Lucy run a very good business and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.
