Sitejabber is a broken platform. My profile has been stuck at 60% for weeks. I tried to upload information, add content, and complete my setup, but every time I click “Add”, the site crashes or shows an error. No support team responds. No live chat, no email, and no working feedback form. How can you expect people to trust or recommend a service that doesn’t even allow users to complete their profiles? This is a poor experience and a waste of time. I do not recommend Sitejabber until they fix their servers and start acting professionally.

Sitejabber has been very beneficial for me, but when I signed up with them, I used an email address that I am forced to discontinue because the provider enrolled me in costly programs that I do not need and cannot afford. I want to update the email address to avoid being buried alive in debts for services that I never requested, but their website does not provide an option for changing an email address. I am forced to file complaints on various websites in the hopes that some exception will be made for an indigent, disabled, 73-year-old male who has enough miseries in life without having providers bury me alive in debt!

Also, it’s ridiculous that they require a section about yourself when writing a review. People read reviews to learn about the company or service, not the person writing it. Forcing users to share irrelevant personal info just to leave feedback is a terrible user experience. Fix your platform.

Good day FACEBOOK CONNECTION. I AWAKE EACH MORNING WITH F I G H T AMERICAN CORPORATE, CAPITALIST MONSTERS on my mind!!!! It is, truly, very sad that our country no longer has "GENTLEMEN IN BUSINESS." Instead, CONSUMERS ARE NOW DEALING WITH UNETHICAL, GREEDY VULTURES$$$
I am working on a case against GOODLEAP LENDERS and their MONTGOMERY PARTNER IN CRIME [DIXIE's PLUMBING/ELECTRIC/
HEATINGHVAC business]. My situation resulted because DIXIE's REFUSED TO HONOR MY HOME WARRANTY COMPANY, which is one of the tops!!
With an emergent gas leak, DIXIE's told me I COULD PAY OUT OF POCKET, OR FINANCE A LOAN to have major home upgrades done$$
Total costs were a MAJOR $31'129USD. In comes GOODLEAP$$$ They made the loan easily accessible.
DIXIE's, RECOGNIZABLY, HAD THEIR INVOICE PADDED AND HIDDEN! NO LINE ITEM FOR LABOR COSTS--JUST FIGURES FOR JOBS DONE. I'm not stupid at 77 years old!! I research and read every day, as a scholar.
Here's what I am laying before you, my fellow CONSUMERS.....
BUSINESSES THROW CUSTOMERS TO GOODLEAP, WHO FINANCES LOTS OF HOMOWNER PROJECTS. WE HAVE THE BEST OF CREDIT SCORES AND ARE THE MOST CREDIT WORTHY ELEMENT OF ALL CONSUMERS--SO, WE ARE TARGETED.
Many of our group WILL DEAL WITH THE LEINS (they can only place them on WHAT THEY FINANCED, by law!!!).
THE BUSINESS PAY A COMMISSION TYPE FEE TO GOODLEAP. I BELIEVE THIS IS WHY DIXIE's FLAT OUT REFUSED TO USE MY BONA FIDE HOME WARRANTY, which would have been MORE ETHICALLY CORRECT.
Well, Here is the MONEY BREAKDOWN WITH GOODLEAP.....THEY GAVE ME A CONTRACT WITH THE TERMS BEING $31,,129USD borrowed WITH A PAYBACK BEING $71,129-
USD. This is certainly proclaimed, BY LAW TO BE U S U R Y$$$$, which means they are charging astronomically much more than the amount of money borrowed$$$
BEAR IN MIND --- MY CREDIT SCORE IS IN EXCESS OF 800!!...MY INTEREST IS AT 14%. I was told this is the best they offer to someone with a score like mine. This is MARLARKY BS!!!...GOD help if someone has a score which is less than mine!!!
It was pretty good for awhile until I started noticing after the site revamp they started deleting my reviews. Also, the once or twice that I tried to submit a positive 5 star review, it simply never got published. They just ignored it. You post critical, negative (and truthful, mind you) reviews, they eventually delete them. You post positive reviews, they ignore them. There's no winning with these people. I DO NOT recommend this site.
EDIT: In response to the SJ representative, you saw firsthand my review on your site was specific, thorough and NOT fake and as you can clearly see I am not a "bot". I have tried several times to change the parameters of your search options to find my review and it never showed up. So to blame it on some proverbial boogeyman (your "algorithm") as I've seen you use several times as a general blanket statement on other people's reviews in an attempt to save face is pretty lame. You deleted my review, just own up to it. Which is why I will never use your site again. Want to be a magician and make this one star a five star? Reinstate my review. Your choice...
EDIT 2: Apparently SJ felt the need to hide my review into a quote "less helpful" category including three others who all like myself, highlight the toxic behavior of said site. The only way you could find this category is if you already knew the title of review and knew what to look for. Evidently, SJ deems itself an authority on what's "helpful" and uses loose and subjective terminology ("inappropriate language", "bots", "scammers" "algorithm", etc) to justify it's rampant need to censor anyone who denotes biased and quite honestly, toxic behavior. Warning others of abusive behavior is apparently "less helpful" to SJ. Says a lot about them...

Sitejabber censored me but let’s ALL good reviews to go on its platform with no pics no proof of purchase but when I write the TRUTH the liar company come in and complain about my reviews and the cave for them. Guess they are intimidated by big company LIARS!!!!

Signed up for this company, filled out my profile page, posted a review with photos of the items purchased and uploaded proof of purchase. Sitejabber did not publish my review. They had no problem publishing a bad review from someone, but apparently don't like positive reviews. Why? They can't blackmail a company to publish good reviews if they're not paid? I knew a small business owner who was being extorted by Yelp this way. I searched the FAQ to find the algorithm excuse. I completed everything requested as described so my review posted, but weeks later it never posted. Deleted my account today. Untrustworthy company in my opinion.

You have a review of our company the engine company.co.uk on your site we have been in business for 15 years and have never had a bad review this review is not from a customer of ours and would ask you to remove it immediately we are a small family run business and your site had cost our business 1000s of pounds David walker the engine company

Anyone that is considering paying for or using Sitejabber's services—I would heed caution and consider other review platforms. Be careful of unethical business practices, lock-in contracts and blackmail to continue using their services.
Probably one of the worst experience I have ever had with a tech company as a small business owner.
We spent thousands of dollars to use their services to collect reviews through their platform from mid 2021 to mid 2024. After deciding to discontinue using their services—almost 2-3k of our 5 star reviews were removed from our profile, and we were left with an extremely poor business rating.
We requested Sitejabber to remove our listing from their site, fix our listing or refund us the money that we spent to use their services.
They took no accountability, refused to remove our listing and then said the only solution to fix the issue is to continue paying full price for their services with a 1 year lock in contract?
Now we are left with no other option, and unfortunately forced into continue paying for the services.

They have a 100 character minimum!! A person should be able to give a review without being told. If 10 words equalling 50 characters is enough to tell the story....

This is absolutely a joke, they never post good reviews even with proof and screenshots the reviews pending forever they say 48 hours, we have clients giving us screenshot, with reviews pending for a week and nothing, absolutely not recommend there is 1000 time better website for asking clients ti leave a review.

Reply from SmartCustomer
None of the good reviews left by our users is approved. Users give us screenshots aiming to show that they want to recommend us, but none of that is approved. At the same time bad reviews are published within a minute.
When you ask the Team of SiteJabber why the user left a review and if it is 5* it is never published, even giving the proof it is genuine, they say it didn't match their policy, verification, etc and anything can be matched under that wording. Why bad review match the policy, good don't? - Simply because it is all not genuine. They want business to pay monthly and if you don't pay they won't publish good things people say about your business. When you ask them "why" they say you will be contacted by the manager who talks about fees only and that's it.
So I call everyone not to believe anything that is written on their site, won't be surprised that their team generates the bad reviews.

ETA: Nebula replied to the review. If it needs verified, and is not viewable, how did they see it?
I submitted reviews. They were all submitted, except one, a Nebula review. For some reason, this specific one needs verification. The verification link directed me to their main page. There is not a way to verify. I contacted customer support. Hopefully, they will reach out soon.
An email from them indicated reviews are posted within 48 hours. A customer service agent stated 72 hours. That is inconsistent.
Shady. This site disabled reviews for Lipstick Alley, a few years ago.

TERRIBLE SITE to use for reviews. We've been using this as a business, we saw we had a few negative reviews on SiteJabber and we decided to start asking all our customers for valid reviews in order to show our true quality of work.
To our surprise, we had a lot of customers confirming reviews even with screenshots and none of them showed up on SiteJabber, even if they had a lot of details and proofs of purchase.
It's like 1 in 30 reviews get published or even less. I wouldn't bother with it when there are a lot of competitors out there where you can get your customers to genuinely review your business and have the reviews displayed.

They deleted all my reviews randomly. I even had proof of purchases. They are terrible.

It has been home for a very long time. Neighborhood is good and decent access to everything needed. Stores, bank, hwy exits etc… Office managers have been very kind and get business done. Maintenance crew is on it! Care for inside apartments, buildings and grounds. Grateful to call it home. Wooten Company Property.
Dodgy company! Writes negative reviews about your company and then expects you to pay to respond to those reviews? No chance I'm paying for this crap.
