Long story kept short, the company and staff are con men. Taken stock of our products and not paid for or returned them. Delt with other staff but Rory McCloskey is the ring leader. Basically any attempt to make contact is impossible he just blocks your phone number. Don't deal with these people.

Employees are incredibly rude, take this from an ex employee, I've witnessed"Ex Colleagues", feels so good to say that, fat shame people, hiring managers throw peoples cv's in the bin due to their age. Yes Age discrimination, Mal practice in the work place, breaking H&S protocol. I've spoken to ex colleagues that have departed stating that payments have been avoided. If you ever want to purchase their products, you can easily find it somewhere else. Majority of their products are not owned by themselves.

This company is a big time fraud, its been 10 days I ordered still don’t know my order status.
I tried contacting them by all possible ways haven’t really heard back from them.
Please think twice before ordering your money will be lost.

Update: They delivered my product after 10 days.

They didn’t deliver for more than a more, then I get emails saying my order has been placed as if it were entirely new, for the same item but in the wrong colour. I speak to someone via their website, they ask to whatsapp me screenshots of their end, I decline them contacting me via WhatsApp and ask them to email me.
They whatsapp me anyway, when I did not give permission to be contacted that way, which is a breach of GDPR, I then request to cancel my order for a full refund, they ignored that request and sent me the item and then asked for feedback and did not address my formal complaint for misuse of my data.
I will be filing a complaint with the ICO. I literally just wanted a refund and they sent the damn thing anyway.
I’m not sure I believe they’re as big a company as they make out when the whole thing was handled like one avoidant person in a garage trying to sell garbage.

Fast delivery. Ordered on Sunday, received items on Wednesday (due to Bank Holiday on Monday). Overall good service! Item packed in neat box. They also offered 20£ discount for first purchase. Got my Oculus Quest 2 at a price never offered by other retailers! I'm a happy man.

A very user-friendly web site with detailed information about the product. Excellent price compared to other web sites. The product was sent quickly via DHL and I could change collection to a locker as I was not going to be home. Great service and an excellent product.

Original review - (updated below) -Initially happy, but now extremely disappointed and would look elsewhere for my products. Price was great, delivery was prompt, but aftersales service just doesn't exist as far as I have witnessed. I ordered a £100 toothbrush that was brilliant but just stopped working completely after a 5-6 weeks (therefore not fit for purpose nor lasting a reasonable amount of time). I have sent 5 emails and have tried the chat and the "contact-us" page on their website but I've heard nothing back. So am left with a faulty product and a hundred pound hole in my pocket. Without customer service you may as well just be buying from someone selling cheap gear from a suitcase on the street corner. I'm most disappointed that there's been no dialogue at all. So if you want to buy from this company in order to get a good price then do so with the warning that if anything goes wrong you're on your own. I hate complaining about things as there's usually a good reason but if I have ever had a problem elsewhere the customer services have always done their best to help the customer out, but unfortunately not here. I just wanted to make sure nobody else suffered the same experience and ended up losing their money like I have.

After a bit of to-ing and fro-ing I did hear back from the company this week and spoke to a really helpful representative and we have managed to sort things out. As with most big companies once you get past the corporate wall and deal with a real person its always alot easier. I understand the company's point of view and obviously they have to protect themselves but they too were undestanding about my position, so I would just say to anyone, no matter who you are buying through, understand you're rights.

As for Smartech, I am going to change my rating to three stars as their prices are really competitive and the delivery is very fast. If they can improve that customer services side of things then they will be a serious player in the world of on retailers that I would be happy to use in the future.

I ordered the new Oculus on the smartech.buzz Website. The price Was great and I also git my product in time. Everything was as expected - even better than expected! I would order again From them.

Had a great experience with them, their Oculus Quest 2 VRs have the best price in the market.

Regarding the customer service, they are responsive but not all the time, because I requested invoices and it took a month before I got the whole set of invoices requested. I consider them a great company still. I suggest them having a contact number which I can call, it will be more convenient rather than making me wait for email responses.

I bought a brand new oculus quest 2 256gb, the price was the best on the market, better even than a lot of them were selling second hand on ebay.

It was delivered free within 3 days, the only improvement I would say was required was communication, there was no email confirmation, or delivery status sent to me.

I struggled to find this product and because of Brexit it wasn’t available from the manufacturer but luckily this company had them in stock at a great price. The communication was good and delivery was fast.
