Unfair and deceptive sales practice by Smarteology
If I could give this company no star, I would.
I ordered a cup warmer on 4/5/2022. When I inspected the warmer, I realized it was not as represented or as depicted by Smarteology in its on-line advertisement. I ordered a battery-powered cup warmer; however, the warmer I received had a plug-in power cord. Neither the description or picture in the Smarteolory on-line ad showed a power cord. I immediately sent Smarteology an e-mail request the same day (4/19/2022) requesting instructions to get a refund. I received a reply on 4/22/2022, telling me I could not get a refund because 14 days had elapsed. It had not. I received the cup warmer on 4/19/2022, and immediately notified Smarteology I wanted a refund of the purhase price. To deny me the refund under these facts would be unfair and a deceptive sales practice by Smarteology.
I subsequently sent Smarteology an e-mail on 5/12/2022, again requesting a full refund in the amount of $43.99, because it is the right thing to do, or provide me with the proffered merchandise credit. I did not receive a reply to my 5/12/2022, e-mail.
