Watching a distraught Mother trying (in-vane.) to talk to her son, on a system, (Smart in Mate) That is inadequate, Broken, and operated by people, with compassion Lower than whale Dung. They all need to be fired and quit bilking the system of tax payers tax money. Or hire professional Tech, who have hearts.
I have scheduled four video visits with my son. However, each time the screen says "waiting for other party to connect". My son's screen on his tablet in jail has the same message so we just sit there waiting for smartinmate to connect us. But that NEVER happens. So we have now wasted two hours sitting in front of the screen waiting to be connected. I have called smart inmate several times and no one there can resolve the problem. I have asked to speak to a supervisor but am told that she is busy. I don't understand why they will NOT help me.
