Jacob contacted me the day prior to the appointment to arrange a time. he arrived promptly as arranged and was exteremly pleasant, professional and efficient. He checked the necessary repairs with me and set to work.
The work was completed in a couple oh hours to a high standard.
Wouild definately use Jacob again and recommend him to other friends.

Utterly atrocious
Utterly atrocious, first appointment for a dent and colour touch up and the repairer failed to turn up on the agreed date. When he did turn up, he was late and then said he couldn't match my car's paintwork. Next repairer booked, had to wait nearly a month for the appointment. This was all arranged by The Smart Repairs and therefore I assumed they had checked the next repair person could match my car's paintwork. He turned up today and told me he can't match the paintwork. So, after 6 weeks and three days of my time waiting in, I am no further forward. Do not ever use.

We have reviewed the details of your booking and can see that you were initially scheduled with a technician who subsequently informed us that they were unable to match the paintwork on your vehicle. We then contacted other technicians in your area to try to facilitate the repair and allocated your job to a technician who has successfully completed many repairs for us and accepted the job based on their assessment that they would be able to match the paintwork.
Unfortunately, when the technician attended and assessed the vehicle in person, they identified that the paint required additional tinters that they did not have available. While this is a rare occurrence, it can happen as technicians can work with different paint systems and paint code schemes. The technician did provide us with the accurate paint code for your vehicle, but unfortunately, they were still unable to achieve the required colour match.
We appreciate that this was particularly frustrating after the time you had already spent waiting for appointments. Once we were made aware of the issue, as discussed with you, we cancelled the repair and arranged a full refund of your deposit.
We sincerely apologise that, despite our efforts to find a technician who could complete the repair, we were ultimately unable to facilitate this for you. We completely understand your frustration and are sorry for the inconvenience and time this has caused.
We wish you all the best in getting the repair resolved.
