Very expensive 150ml tryout. It covered about 1 sq. metre with 2 coats. It was solvent based, so gave better penetration than the water based varieties that are well hyped up. Very difficult to find technical details for durability. There was no comparative data for longevity; estimated at 2 to 3 years, with re-coating every year; so not too good. (guaranteed for 6 months?) There are very few longer term reviews; it looks okay as soon as it's been applied. The range of Smartseal products is confusing with different sealants having similar names and no tables for comparison. It would be easy to buy the wrong one. I finally opted for an oil based polyurethane product that should last a lot longer than the Smartseal acrylic coatings.
