Save Ya Time and Skin!

I ordered the SmartShavy with an extra set of heads. This has been the easiest part of my route to add/change. I DEFINITELY prefer this over the normal razor. It’s a Time saver and you know as women your routes can be a bit long, I Promise it saves time and works!! I’ve used it in my face legs and underarms! Get one or 2!!!

Disgusting customer service

I never received my product. I contacted the support team after 1 email they never replied again. The parcel have gotten lost in the mail and they expected of me to go from house to house in my area and ask if anyone received my parcel. I mean its a joke Disgusting customer service. They should be ashamed of how they treat customers. Avoid at all cost

The product does not function as demonstrated on the internet and is not fit for purpose.

I bought this as a gift for my wife, the clipper head works OK, but when connected, the foil head flashes on and off, but does not work.

I have contacted Smartshavy to request a refund as the item is not of merchantable quality, and the first response I received insisted that I had to provide a photo or video of the product 'not working'.

I suggested that a photo would be unhelpful and that they could see for themselves that the product was defective when they receive it. As I have lost confidence in the product I require a refund, as is my statutory right.

Again 'Alicia' at Smartshavy insisted that I needed to send a video or photograph to show the product not working, so I made a video, that clearly shows the clipper head lighting up and functioning correctly, yet the foil head illuminated, and failed to operate.

'Alicia' tells me that she can see in the video that the head had been fitted the wrong way around, and that the terminals were not touching (which was nonsense as I had made sure it was connected correctly, and besides which it wouldn't have illuminated if the terminals weren't touching).

I never judge a service provider by something that has gone wrong, as sometimes things do. I always judge based on how they put right a problem. So far, Smartshavy are trying to avoid their liability and obligation to give a refund.

17/1/24. Smartshavy are now telling me that sometimes the heads get damaged in transit, yet there is no evidence of this. They have told me that they are sending out replacement heads.

They are also completely ignoring the fact that I am requiring a full refund for the defective product as per my statutory rights.

I never judge an organisation on the intitial problem or service that I may have to complain about, as various issues can arise, however, I do judge on the way in which an organisation deals with the complaint, and at the moment, smartshavy are behaving terribly and continue to ignore my comments, but instead work through what could be a well-rehearsed script.
I still await my refund.

I received a USED and dirty device with…

I received a USED and dirty device with several LONG gray hairs sticking out of the head attachment! Absolutely disgusting! The device itself looks all scratched up like it has been rolling around the bottom of a drawer for some time. I haven’t even tried it as I shouldn’t have to disinfect a product I paid for to be brand new. What kind of quality control does this company have?

Better finish with a razor!

I bought one of these when they were all over social media. £20+.
It DOES NOT REMOVE HAIR AS SEEN IN VIDS AND PICS. Definitely not left “smooth”. I get a better finish with a Bic!!
Someone mentions about the “foil”. What foil? All I got was the normal head with small teeth? I’ve used it twice because it’s not a great shave. Sorry, but I thought for the price I would get a better product!

Love it! Just the thing I was needing

I just love love love this little gadget!!! Honestly the perfect thing for my sensitive skin. Shaving leaves me with cuts and a rash constantly, it’s the worse thing so when i seen this i thought I've got nothing to lose.
I couldn’t have been any more impressed if I tried. It doesn’t hurt, no rash, no cuts, no bleeding! Highly recommend this, so much so that I bought a further 3 to give for Christmas presents to my mum, auntie & cousin who are also very happy with it.

Great product

I received my Smartshavy quickly and find it so easy to use.
No pulling or pain. Used the blade first and followed up with the foil to make my legs extra smooth. A really good buy.

Very hard to get ahold of!

It would be zero stars but it won’t let me! I ordered this on April 11th 2023. In July I sent an email concerning my problem. I have yet to hear anything back!! I NEVER RECEIVED THE PACKAGE!! All I wanted was my money back. Order#2385 $55.80 wasted on a scam!
