I ordered two pillows from them and received them on a timely manner. They arrived well packaged and nothing was wrong. However, I wanted to exchange one for a loftier one but have not received answers to any of my text and the phone number doesn’t work. I’m surprised as my m-in-law bought her pillows on TSC so I figured they’re legit.

If I could give them 0 stars, I would. I bought a (hypo-allergenic) silk and cotton mattress cover from them—I was trying to offset heat from the foam in my mattress. The item looked nice, was perfect for my needs, and was reasonably priced.

I received the item and it had clearly been previously returned—from a brick and mortar store, by the looks of things. There were at least two stickers on the outer packaging which they'd tried to remove and clean off, unsuccessfully. I hoped it was because they'd pulled stock from their store so I opened it… to a disgusting mix of fabric fibres, hair and some type of pet fur, by the looks of things.

The item had been bought and opened in someone's not very clean home. They then either returned it, or used it and returned it, and I was sold "used" bedding, which is against the law in Canada (and most countries), unless it's designated "Used."

I believe they are reselling used bedding here and in the US, or here from returns in the US… or somewhere else. I tried to get a refund and was given the run-around. My bank returned my money, then I had to start the whole process over again due to a misunderstanding.

Do not buy SmartSilk products, no matter where you buy them from. They're breaking the law and reselling used and dirty bedding. Disgusting. Illegal. Health Canada?!!
