We bought a very expensive coffee…

We bought a very expensive coffee machine for it to break twice, the customer service to not reply to our emails and not offering a reason or solution as to why the appliance broke TWICE. Very disappointed and will not be buying anything else from Smeg.

SMEG not great

Bought the SMEG toaster and kettle in cream.
Looks lovely.
But!! After 3 weeks of use the kettle still has a horrible taste to the water when boiled, and its sooo bloody noisy when boiling.. wish i hadn't bothered.

I bought a lovely Smeg kettle a couple…

I bought a lovely Smeg kettle a couple of years ago which I’ve been really pleased with up until now as it leaks and the paint is blistering , tried to contact Smeg but if I’m honest its virtually impossible as I no longer have the receipt .. if this normal I guess I just have to accept that I need to replace the item but sadly not with another Smeg (although the problem being I have other matching Smeg items )

Great response from customer service 🌟 🌟🌟🌟🌟

I contacted Smeg after my recently purchased kettle accidently got scratched. I received a reply from Jo. Jo suggested a touch up pen which is usually used for other appliances. She wasn't sure if it would work but I said I'd give it a try. I received the pen within a few days and gave it a try. It worked a treat! Thank you Jo and SMEG. Great products and service 👌 😊

Friendly and efficient service from Michelle.

I spoke to Michelle concerning a faulty heating element with my toaster (thankfully under warranty). With no hesitation, she arranged to send a replacement. The call lasted no more than a few minutes and I am very pleased with Michelle's friendly and efficient customer service.

Outstanding customer service

I’ve just raised a query with SMEG customer services and spoke with Jo on the call. She listened to my query regarding the warranty of my product and managed the issue with real kindness. It is an absolute joy to know that good customer service, where real humans listen to your queries and respond to them in a kind manner and a ‘can-do’ attitude still exists. I hope my SMEG dishwasher won’t fail any time soon, but when it does, I’ll certainly be buying this brand again. Thank you Jo.

Emily was great

Emily was great, could’ve register the warranty online and as it was a five-year warranty not the standard two year warranty domestic and general couldn’t help but I spoke to Emily on the online chat and she’s sorted it within maybe 10-15 minutes.

Now have a dishwasher with a 5 year parts and labour warranty.

Not going to lie, but it would be a good idea to have domestic general tell people as they were happy to register just the two year warranty but the particular one I bought had a five year one, it’s only because I questioned it they looked further into it.

What is Know in Emily works for Smeg not domestic in general.

Excellent service - going the extra mile

Jocelyn in customer services has given us outstanding support.
We have a large fridge which we love that developed a fault that has proven difficult to repair by the SMEG approved repairer.
Our fridge is recently out of warranty, and I called Customer support. Jocelyn has professionally dealt with our problem and made a generous offer to replace the fridge with a new fridge and warranty at a substantial discount. Whilst disappointing it has not been possible to repair the fridge, the pragmatic and helpful response has renewed our faith in the brand and most importantly its people.

Smeg PBF01CRUK 50's Style Retro 0.6L Plastic Jug Blender.

Complete rubbish just about to return my 3rd blender. All three leaked & fluid from the tightly screwed on grinder cassette flooded the base holding the electronics. The second blender chewed up the locating point. Getting hold of the customer service to report the first failure & second failure was like pulling a tooth. Couldn't so returned the devices to Argos who instantly replaced them. This time I wont be getting another as a replacement. Will buy from a competitor.

Appliance repair

We had an issue with a newly purchased ceramic hob that had developed a crack. I spoke with Jo at customer care who promptly arranged an engineer visit to replace this. Prompt & efficient service that you would expect from a company like Smeg.
