It was great working with Matt to design my new kitchen. I made lots of changes throughout the process, and nothing was ever too much trouble for him. He was always responsive and even picked up emails on Sundays, which was incredibly helpful since I work during the week. His support made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable.

So far, I had 3 design consultations with Smile Kitchens. Huse was greatly efficient and explained things well thus providing peace of mind and expedience. I very much look forward to receiving my smile kitchen

Ian, my designer, was great — patient, friendly, and very helpful throughout the design phase. Credit where credit is due but, unfortunately, that’s where the positives end.

The follow-through left much to be desired and several design details were incorrect. For example, a slim side panel shown in the 3D plan was left out, throwing off the symmetry of the layout. This also forced a cabinet door to open the wrong way, making the corner unit harder to access and reducing storage capacity.

Delivery and aftercare were even worse. The delivery date was only confirmed days before, making coordination with my fitters and worktop supplier unnecessarily complicated. Several components were either missing or wrong, including an appliance door, a drawer box (which wasn’t even compatible with the kitchen design, so I couldn’t use it — and I’m still waiting for the refund), and a cabinet door. It then took three weeks and relentless chasing to get replacements, with no apology. Communicating with the aftercare team was really frustrating and many of my emails were ignored. At one point they didn’t even provide the delivery driver my address, he had to call me at 7am to ask where one of the missing doors had to be delivered to.

The kitchen itself looks great, but I can’t say the same for the quality. I’ve used it for just over a month and the paint has already chipped on a couple of cabinets (mind you’d I’ve been VERY careful and I don’t have kids/pets). This, plus the delivery issues and lack of accountability soured the whole thing. When you’re spending thousands of pounds on a product, you expect the experience to be nothing short of exceptional.

The design process might earn Smile glowing early reviews (which you’re prompted to leave before receiving your kitchen), but the execution and aftercare are where they fall short. The main positive is that the price was very reasonable, but in August they increased their pricing, which makes me think you’re probably better off using a more established competitor. What could have been a five-star experience left me wanting.

Kitchen order is on its way but just to review the design and order process… it’s been fantastic. Gemma was our designer, so helpful, even with all our last minute changes before ordering. We got quotes from several kitchen companies and I found Gemma to be so professional, knowledgeable and there was zero sales pressure (which we got from a couple of other kitchen companies). I like the fact she knew what would and wouldn’t work in our space. Our builder said the installation pack/info is really impressive too. Can’t wait for the delivery now! Thanks Gemma!

We designed our kitchen and pantry with Natalie. She was an absolute pleasure to work with and chat to, beyond patient with all of my design changes and questions and came up with a totally different design to what I was thinking which makes way more sense and I couldn't be more pleased with!!! The fact they can send you samples and paint to any colour is fantastic and I can't wait to see the finished product!

Amazing design experience with Huse. This was the 4th kitchen design consult we did, and by far the best. We felt we were in an experienced and safe pair of hand with Huse. As well as creating a stunning looking design, as we were building a brand new extension, we had so many issues come up with the plumbing, new boiler, extraction, ceiling/steel beam height's which impacted the kitchen. Every time we were unsure, we reached out to Huse who gave us much needed advise we were able to pass on to our builders.
So far after sales service with Smile has been great, and they have proactively been reaching out to us with updates.
Really looking forward to seeing the finished product in a few weeks.

From start to finish, Corrine was amazing. She came up with ideas we’d never even thought of and really guided us through the whole process. What really stood out was that we got a real wood kitchen for the same price (or less) than other retailers were charging for MDF wrapped kitchens. We had to make a few changes along the way because of the build, but Corrine was so quick, patient, and happy to adjust the plans for us. Nothing was too much trouble. We couldn’t be happier and would highly recommend her!

We've had a great experience with Smile. Our consultation was with Martyn and he brought what was in my head to life. The whole process was really good, really thorough and professional. The samples were great, and the whole ordering process easy. We're still installing as it's a full renovation with the kitchen in a new room and we're doing it all ourselves with the help of family tradespeople and everyone works full time so it's slow but it's looking great and the service from Smile has been excellent throughout. The aftercare team are responsive and friendly, any issues have been minor and resolved quickly. I don't think any renovation is without a hiccup and especially when there isn't a straight wall in our house but I love it all, we've just had the worktops installed and it's beautiful. I would recommend!

Myself and Partner had a first online meeting with Corinne, and couldn't have been happier with the design and her efforts.

Corinne immediately captured the aesthetic we wanted to achieve, helped us with best practices in a compact space, and we had a great-looking, polished design sent over within a few hours. We also received a sample posted quickly, which was of great quality.

We ended up choosing a kitchen from a friend who offered us a deal we couldn't turn down, but would have opted for Smile if they hadn't.

Overall, really impressed with design, onboarding service.

I recently ordered my kitchen through Smile Kitchens and overall I’m very pleased with the result. My designer, Jane, was fantastic – she really listened to what I wanted and came up with some brilliant, creative solutions. The kitchen looks stylish, and the units feel solid and high quality.

There were a few hiccups along the way. Communication around delivery dates could have been clearer, and I had to chase a couple of missing items, though these were sorted in the end. Installation also took a little longer than expected, but the finished kitchen looks amazing.

Overall, Smile Kitchens provided a good service and a lovely product. I’m happy with my new kitchen and would definitely recommend them.

Smile kitchens, the initial design meetings were useful and Izzy understood everything we were wanting, including the hidden utility door in the cabinets. Each meeting was well structured and helped a lot with the design.
The kitchen quality is amazing, solid wood doors. The samples came quickly and helped us visualise the cabinets, handles etc.
We had issues with the delivery of the order, items missing, but when we called smile their customer service was excellent and they would resolve the issue promptly. It did mean some items were delivered later, but this was to do with their supplier.
If you want quality cabinets at a good price, smile is definitely a company you should consider.

Due to unrelated issues with my build, I never got to install the kitchen I designed, but the design service I received from Jennifer at Smile was fantastic nonetheless. She really guided me through the process, listened to my thoughts and offered her expertise. I was really pleased with the solution she came up with, the 3d visualisation was so useful and the sample quality was excellent. I look forward to getting a Smile kitchen when I finally am in a position to replace what I've got!

From the first point of contact to ordering our new kitchen we couldn’t have been more impressed. Corinne the designer covered all aspects of the design and was always available for guidance as we put our new kitchen design together , I would highly recommend Smile Kitchens to family and friends. Very happy with my new kitchen layout by Gemma at Smile, who has been very good at helping me solve some tricky issues with my old Victorian terraced house. She's very skilled at design, has a very good eye and works with your ideas in mind.

Buying online feels risky but Gemma was very reassuring, answering all the questions I had with a lot of knowledge and information. I'm signed off ready for delivery so finger's crossed it goes well. Thanks Gemma :)

05/11/2025 Update: My new Kitchen is now fitted and I’m over the moon. I love it all. The cupboards are really good quality and even the kitchen fitter was impressed by how well it was made. Couple of order mistakes were very quickly fixed by Smile so nothing was an issue.

And Smile has the loveliest delivery guys, they were so helpful and honestly so proud of the company they worked for. It couldn’t have gone better.

It was great to work with Corinne to design my new kitchen and the 3D rendered images are far superior compared to those provided by other companies. You can really visualise the space and what it will look like when finished.

I made lots of changes and tested lots of ideas and nothing was ever too much trouble. I appreciate this and felt that the extra effort and patience helped me go with Smile for my kitchen.

Since placing my order nearly two weeks ago I am yet to receive a delivery date which is disappointing - I was told it would only be a few days. I have booked in a fitter in readiness and truly hope it isn’t delayed.

Hoping to update this review once all is received and fitted. Can’t wait for my new kitchen!

This was my first kitchen remodel and suffice to say - I have had the best experience one could wish for. Smile was recommended to me by a co-worker as the best brand for quality/price and it didn’t disappoint. My expert designer Huse not only attentively listened to every wish and need but went above and beyond sharing advice on the best kitchen layout, materials, colours etc. to meet my budget and idea for the ‘dream kitchen’. I had to tweak the design, colour and quote a few times to arrive to the most optimal result i could not have done it without the time, patience snd expertise of Huse. Thank YOU!
P.s. I did shop around and Smile really provides the best price for a real timber front kitchens + amazing warranty in case of damage / break etc. Cannot wait for installation !

Our designer, Corinne, was outstanding. We heard of Smile in passing from social media forums, and had planned on using DIY Kitchens. But the service and attention to detail Corinne demonstratiled left us with no question about who we would use for our new kitchen. She took an existing design I had made and improved it immensely, with the result being a design that was modern, stylish and made the best use of a relatively unusual space. I would highly recommend Corinne's and Smile's services to anyone looking for a new kitchen .
