Staff were very welcoming
The treatment I had was the best I have ever had. I would greatly recommend this Dental practice

I came to THE best place in town to have my smile back again. They are so wonderful and most caring and would HIGHLY recommend a treatment at Smilewell.

I decided to have full implants and after a lot of research decided I would visit Smilewell in Borehamwood.

My first consultation was on 29th August 2023. From the moment I walked in the staff were very professional and friendly.

I was early and was immediately offered refreshments by the Receptionist.

Within 5 minutes I was called in to see Dr Adeel Ali who I now call the Magician.

After a quick chat, he examined me and then I had the relevant OPG and CBCT scans. I returned to see Dr Ali and he checked my scans. I was concerned
at this point he might not be able to help me as my teeth and gums were in bad condition and had been so for many years.

Dr Ali explained to me in layman’s terms what he could do to give me back my smile and allow me to enjoy my food again something I had struggled to do for sometime.

I was confident in his advice and knew this was exactly what I wanted. I had made my mind up within two minutes of us chatting that this was a man I trusted and he was going to give me my new implants .

I returned Thursday 31st August and photos and impressions were taken.

On 14th September Dr Ali and his team removed my old teeth and inserted my full implants - top and bottom. I opted for anaesthetic which I would recommend as there was minimum pain during surgery. I think I felt one injection.

The care received on the day was outstanding. I could not fault them in anyway. The service is professional and premises spotless.

Dr Adeel is very knowledgeable/skilled , he was reassuring throughout the whole process. He is in my opinion an expert in his field and I have full confidence in him and his team. His fees are very competitive and I have no hesitation in recommending the Smilewell.

On 25th September I saw Dr Ali for a post surgery check up and all is well. Further advice on care of the temporary implants was given and I will be returning
In 3-4 months to have the final implants fitted.

One other thing to note is everything is completed on site including the actual
Implants themselves. They are made in the on site laboratory and not outsourced.

I will be updating once I have my final implants fitted.

I’m well impressed with everything
I’m waiting to start my treatment but did attend all my wife’s appointments with her as she got her implants done everything and everyone was great we were always happy after every appointment because we were informed what to expect on the day and the following appointment and so on Dr Adeel is amazing with the work he does will highly recommend Smilewell

I had 2 major treatments - May 2023 all on 4 lower jaw
and August upper jaw zygomatics .
The pre treatment its all very stressfull .
BUT Adeel and all the team were great and from walking into the unit day of treatment stress disapears
and the actual surgery is painless and easy - recovery well that does take time - any pain is dealt with easily with medication but the body needs time to recover.
Eating not a problem but soft foods to start with
Post operative care was outstanding Adeel was always available to discuss any concerns. I am glad i eventualy had the treatment and would happily recomend Adeel and his team .

I can’t thank Dr Adeel enough he’s done an amazing job
When I fell last year in July and broke 3 of my front teeth I went to see him i was emotional and upset I mean think about it as a woman not having three of your front teeth well I went to see Dr Adeel in November and he started my treatment straight away as I had few teeth missing at the back too he did 8 implants and by April this year it was all finished
He made me feel so comfortable and relaxed yes RELAXED I know it sounds unbelievable you might think how can you be relaxed in a dentist chair but believe me I was
I get asked and complemented on my teeth so much

I recently had some treatment including implants, the team were amazing I’m a nervous patient and from my very first appointment they were caring/professional and their treatment plan meant I had less work done than another dentist had said I needed. I’m so happy with the work I had done that was not rushed and I felt they really cared to get the best outcome for me.

I had two dental implants done at Smilewell Dentistry & Implants and I am so happy with the results. The entire process was very smooth and pain-free, and the staff were all so friendly and professional.

Went to a few dentists in Borehamwood and surrounding areas as I wanted a smile makeover, was given a few treatment plans, and decided to give Smilewell a try. From first contact I could see their service was far better than all the other clinics so decided to pop in for a consultation with Dr Adeel. We sat down and went through my requirements and finally settled on Invisalign with some composite bonding, their quote was the most competitive but above all, I liked the feel of the dental clinic and felt most comfortable with Smilewell. My treatment is complete and I am over the moon with the results. I highly recommend Smilewell to anyone looking to get dental work done. The team is very welcoming and easily calms your nerves.

I came across Smilewell Dentistry & Implants after having a bad experience with my previous dentist who had extracted some teeth without fully explaining why and refusing to give me a treatment plan (which I now know is pretty standard). They also fitted a crown which wasn't fitted correctly so caused discomfort. Having paid thousands of pounds but unhappy with the service and still needing work I decided to look elsewhere.

After asking around and doing some research I decided to speak to Smilewell as I learned they specialised in implants. I went in for a consultation with Dr Adeel who highlighted some of the issues I had along with a detailed treatment plan, he also answered all my questions making me feel fully informed and at ease. I was really taken back by the professionalism of the whole team, from the receptionist, treatment coordinator to the actual dentist, everyone made me feel great.

I decided to go ahead with the treatment plan which included implants, Invisalign and composite bonding and am midway through my plan, so far I highly rate every aspect of my experience, the dental practice has beautiful decor and easily accessible by public transport and car. I don't live local to the clinic but the experience I have had made me pick Smilewell over more local dentists.

I have had a lot of anxiety about my teeth for a long time, dental visits have been very stressful for me. I had loose front teeth , one was protruding and other failing teeth so I decided to look at implants. After visiting four other practices for consultations I finally found Smilewell Clinic. From the initial phone call all the staff and above all Dr Ali , made me feel at ease and confident that I would receive a good result.
On the 30th March I had my surgery with IV sedation, I did not feel a thing nor was I aware of what was happening, I had 20 teeth extracted and eight implants placed with a lovely set of temporary teeth fitted.
I had minimal pain and swelling and no bruising in the following days. I’ve had three appointments since the surgery to check healing and for fittings for my permanent teeth. My final appointment is on Monday, I am getting very excited to have my new smile.
This has changed my life, I am more confident, have no hesitation in meeting new people and feel so happy with my smile. Everyone at Smilewell made me feel so at ease and cared for, I cannot thank them enough.
