Hand Steamer
I got a hand steamer for christmas and every time I use it it pours large amounts of water all over the floor and the garment. It leaks onto the cord and I have had a zap from it. Very unsafe. Not happy with it at all. Would not recommend it

If I could do a minus 100 I would. This company used to be great but since they were purchased by 3 day blinds it has gone from a 10 to a -100
The so called designer Janet was most unprofessional and made so many mistakes to the poor management Nikki G provided no help and cut me off and tried to minimize any concerns I had. I used this company for over 15 years but will never use them again and I encourage others to shop elsewhere

Smith and Noble not what they profess to be.
Our experience with Smith and Noble has been extremely disappointing. You pay 100% up front wait
approximately 6 weeks then need to schedule an installation appointment, which can take yet another few weeks . The installer puts up the curtains, but doesn’t adjust them so they hang straight, they dragged and buckled along the window sill, looking messy. It takes several calls and weeks before you can get an installer back to adjust.
Then just two months after the original installation the pull used to pull the curtains closed, isn’t working, another 2 months go by, to get the installer scheduled. He canceled twice and comes one hour late on the day of the appointment, removes the original style pull and adds a new device, leaving the curtains dragging on the window sill. They look comical as if a blind worker did the installation. He of course couldn’t adjust the drapes or didn’t know how, leaving a disaster. He was rushed and late to another appointment. Now of course we will need to make another appointment and will then be at the mercy of the installer to come back, hopefully in the next few weeks. I’m so disappointed it’s been 6 months and I still don’t have curtains that look presentable.

Horrible customer service
Horrible customer service. Spent at least 50k with them. Sending the wrong parts & service won’t respond for weeks / months. 4 of the shades we purchases 4 years ago are broken. They cannot seem to fix it, so need to buy new ones. I would go with another company

Candice Malone was such a wonderful…
Candice Malone was such a wonderful person to deal with. She remembered I wanted to do another room after I got blinds in May. She called me and let me know they weren’t going to make them anymore and she cont. to stay in touch and I even measured for the blinds while she was on the phone . What a delight and yes I love my blinds!!!

Frustration Station
I am having a terrible experience with this company which seems to operate with corporate bloat: I was verbally promised a full refund for incorrectly manufactured and incorrectly installed window treatments. This has cost me over $5300. I want that money refunded to my credit card, and I want communication re the date for removal of faulty installation. It is July 17, and these issues were raised June 24. Help! (Update: Smith and Noble confirmed a full refund, so now I await that to credit my account. The faulty window treatments are also scheduled for removal.)

Looks good but bad quality
I do not recommend smith and noble products. They do not stand by their products. They sent me a damaged valance with a rip and refused to exchange or let me return the item. Luckily the damage was on top so you couldn’t see it once installed. Now the motorized shade is dead and I am out of luck. I called customer support and basically they acknowledge that the roller shades were now useless but refuse to do anything about it because warranty is only 5 years. Their products do not last.

Say Yes (was: No) to Skylight Blinds

After posting this review, Smith+Noble contacted us. Denise Ramos offered a couple solutions, and after we selected the option best for us, they repaired the defective blind! Handled all shipping, installation, and maintained constant communication throughout the entire process. Blind has been fully operational since July 20th.
Kudos to Denise and the larger team behind her, thank you so much! Can’t express how much we appreciated the opportunity to see Customer Service at its’ best.
First off, we have many window blinds that are great. Steer clear of their skylight blinds. Last March, 4 new skylight blinds arrived - waited a month for install, which was then done incorrectly. Problems all summer, second installer diagnosed and fixed first installers mistakes last October. Seven months later one blind broke due to inferior metal eyelet… and of course now beyond 1-year warranty. Can’t even replace, they don’t offer the product any more. Customer Service supposedly had an open ticket to seek a solution, was ghosted. Avoid at all cost - poor product design, quality, and Customer Service.

Won't leave home again!
This is my two week review and I am still 100% happy. The cellular shades are truly stunning. I chose the cellular shades in Soft White Shimmer Weave. This style goes well against toasted marshmallow matte walls and it will prevent the windows from being the focal point in the room. Also, the cellular shades I chose are top down bottom up. It's really cool!
Light Filtering for the living room and Black Out for the bedroom. Why Light Filtering for the living room? My windows are west facing and it can get hot during the day, I now get enough light I don't have to turn the lights on during the daytime and there isn't a glare.Why b/o for one of the shades? So that I wouldn't have the light hit my eyes as soon as I woke up in the morning.
Did you get Motorization? No I like manually adjusting the shades without a remote.

I love my Smith and Noble blinds, curtains, and shutters. I wouldn’t purchase window solutions from anywhere else because of the high quality & uniqueness of the products. I now have another reason to keep coming back to S&N- the excellent customer service!! This past year, Claudia helped resolve an issue I had with my shutters. She kept in contact and made sure I was completely satisfied with the solution S&N offered. Just writing to let everyone know that I have had a HORRIBLE experience with Smith & Noble window ware. I ordered roman shades in 2019. They have completely fallen apart. I have asked repeatedly and politely for them to repair or replace them. They have refused to provide any support. They told me that I should go to the fabric store and repair them myself. They said that I chose "the wrong treatment for the room", and it is my fault because what I chose was not durable enough. A salesperson came to my house before I made the order and never said a word about durability. Smith & Noble products are sold at a premium price. They are the absolute worst. (I used Blinds.com in other rooms and they have been DELIGHTFUL to work with!)

Amazing quality and selection!
The samples I was able to choose from (and there were sooooo many!) And the samples I received (lightening fast, I might add!) were absolutely amazing! The quality is absolutely top-notch, the fabric is amazing, and the designs are exactly as pictured! The colors are exact also. There were options for consultation throughout my order too!
