They’re out of business now I think but they had accepted payment for an order which never arrived. MasterCard reimbursed me, thankfully.

smiths have gone bust insolvency notice in omagh gazette creditors meeting in arthur st belfast on 27/07 2017 hope this helps as i was one of the mugs who ordered a leather chair from them in january 2917 and like everyone else was fobbed off with lies

I bought a leather suite of smiths in October 2015 and after a year the colour started to come out of the suite. I have been fighting with smiths or the past six months, and was finally able to get the chair fixed but now it is discoloured in another part of the suite. Rang them two weeks ago and they sad they would get back to me and I've just learnt today that they are gone. £2000 wasted on what I thought was a leather suite, very disappointed customer.

Sofa ordered on 1st April 2017. was told it would be 12-14 weeks. At 12 weeks we contacted them and they said it wasn't ready and they would contact us about delivery. now 14 weeks and after not answering the phone on numerous occasions we decided to visit the Belfast store -Closed. Notice to say to contact Omagh banch. Guess what, not answering their calls again. £800 gone.
If you are reading this message DO NOT ORDER FROM SMITHS FURNITURE!!!!!

Ordered my suite on 11 March 2017 and after trying to contact them by phone my hubby drove to their Belfast Store-The Shop was Empty no furniture in store !! No Sign to inform customers of how to get their furniture!! Where is my suite and my £700 deposit that I paid Smiths Furniture ????

We have been waiting 12 weeks on a sofa which we were told would be here in 5-6 we haven't had any update and can't get any answer on the Omagh number or Belfast one as it is dead, and the Belfast shop has closed down. We've paid 750 deposit and it looks like we aren't getting our sofa or money as we can't even get in contact with the company. Absolutely disgusting company and people!!

Terrible customer service. I ordered a nest of tables, a couple of months later it still wasn't delivered and they couldn't tell me when it would be delivered. I had to get a refund. I decided as it was a local company I would give them another chance and ordered a table. Same thing. 9 weeks later they couldn't tell me when it would be delivered. I asked for a refund. Still waiting on refund. Looks like I will have to go to small claims court. Impossible to get someone to answer phone. My advice is to avoid this shop. I was able to get the items delivered by another company within 2 weeks.

I wouldn't use Smiths for furniture again. I was told 16 weeks until delivery when we ordered our sofa, however, we've waited 6 months and still not received it. You usually have to call up 30 times before you get an answer and one of the phone numbers for their store has gone out of use which is quite worrying.

Their latest update said they've delivered the sofa already, when clearly they hadn't. Now they are having to check warehouses etc to actually locate the sofa.

The sofa could arrive and be the greatest sofa ever, however, until we actually receive it who knows??

So happy with my new table great service and very reasonable prices wouldn't hesitate to buy from here again!

My experience purchasing furniture with Smiths was an enjoyable one.
The quality of product bought was matched with the quality of service both in shop and with delivery and assembly of the furniture.

Bought a leather suite of furniture from the omagh store. The armchair padding went all flat n the leather is all loose n saggy on it. The leather has faded on the arm's n where u'r head rests. Very disappointed especially when I paid almost £3.000 for it.

I must say, dealing with Smiths has been a dream. I live in rural County Tyrone and order a new suite of furniture with them. Delivery was estimated at 3-4 weeks due to the finest leather sofa being shipped from Italy. And the suite arrived 4 weeks later on the dot.
I have bad knees so asked them to move my old settee,.... they did that too!
What a joy to behold.

I purchased the Apollo table and chairs which is great quality and the price was surprising as it looks even more expensive than the price I paid. I also bought the livingstone suite which I am extremely happy with. The service in the shop was fantastic and delivery was very prompt.

I purchased the Simba mattress, I got this within the week. Great service and fab product. Very Pleased

We purchased a Patna Sideboard from the Belfast store and cannot speak highly enough of the sales girl who assisted us. If you're looking for that personal touch and assistance with furnishing your home, try Smiths! Delivery was on time, and the delivery team were very helpful and courteous. Oh, and the sideboard looks just perfect in it's new home!

Local shop advised me item I was asking about only available on line . I sent an email to the company from website asking one question about the colour of the item and didn't get a response and that was a week ago. I've ordered the item and hoping the colour is suitable for me when it arrives.

So happy with my new chest of drawers great service and very reasonable prices wouldn't hesitate to buy from here again!

I had a lovely experience whilst picking out a new sofa at Smiths Furniture Store. The staff are lovely and extremely helpful and there are a great selection of products. The sofa arrived in the time that I was told it would and is great quality and really comfortable. Would definitely return to Smiths
