Rated 4 out of 5 stars

No reviews for Smiths yet? let me be the first.

I give them 4 and a bit stars actually. There are garden centres closer to my home but I prefer to travel a little bit further to this one. Extensive range of plants and sundries, and prices are not unreasonable in my opinion. Friendly checkout girls, I had one packing my purchases in a box while the other was ringing them up. That's service!
Niggles: (1) Outdoor bedding/tub plants are in two separate spots either side of the store's wall, they really need to be all together. If you don't know the store you might think the ones by the main entrance are all there is, and miss the others. If you're inside the store and want a second look at the ones by the entrance, you have to wait for the sliding doors to open when someone comes in, so that you can duck out.
(2) The toilets are a bit of a trek to get to, it's a pity there is not easier access.
(3) One thing I went to look for was a dwarf conifer to replace one that died in the summer but all I saw were large pots. £49.99 is not for me, thank you.
