Excellent service from a highly experienced and knowledgeable member of staff. Warm friendly welcome from another member of staff who ensured I had exactly what I needed on my visit - I was impressed that he passed on to his colleague that I had travelled a long way to the store that day.
Great value for money on the goods I subsequently ordered, with website indications of discounts all a honoured to the letter. A truly first class service.

Great choice and range of sofa's and chairs in the showroom. We were allowed the time to browse without being rushed or sales pressure. The staff were extremely helpful, knowledgeable and patient (we did spend a good few hours deciding on which sofa to purchase). Nothing was too much trouble. We felt the products were competitively priced. We felt assured that our personal information would be protected we were informed in detail about their data protection policy. After carefully researching what we needed in a recliner, we decided to visit the store. The hour-long drive was well worth it to see such an impressive selection of high-quality furniture. Steve Dyson guided us expertly through the different ranges, as well as the extensive choice of fabrics and leather finishes.

Christopher was helpful, informative, patient and understanding. He led us through the various options, gave advice when asked and judged when to leave us alone. We had excellent help from Paul .It took us 3 days to make our choice of settees and on each visit to the store he couldn't have been more helpful and kind.Cant wait now for a delivery date for our new furniture. A great company to buy from.

John really couldn’t have been more helpful, we rearranged part of the showroom to ensure what we were interested in buying would fit comfortably into our lounge, he went through all the different options of all styles and materials answering all the questions we had, he also answered more questions that we hadn’t thought of. John and all the other staff were very friendly, we were given a coffee as we had travelled quite far. We did not feel rushed and there wasn’t any pressure to buy, it was well worth the journey and we feel we purchased the correct thing for us.

Amazing. I returned to test out the chairs and was not disappointed by the professionalism from Graeme and the very kind older gentleman upstairs in flooring.
Although, I didn't purchase the Tetrad chair due to fact the leather was from Thailand, formerly known as Siam (from China)-- that invaded/plundered/looted (still) the Khmer people, I found Christopher's response superb to cultural issues and awareness to be beyond the average person. I am impressed by the affable staff here and am so happy to be introduced to the fantastic world of furniture made in England, starting with the Harrison Spinks mattress with Frank's guidance, which quality is absolutely superb after buying it from him a couple years ago.
I ended up purchasing a Tetrad chair somewhere else in England due to time constraints, with customized fabric of respectable source and had it air shipped to the USA-- the Tetrad Chair is HEAVENLY as the first time I sat on one like it at Smiths of Harrogate. Never knew how much I love English made furniture until now. Ta.
