Good photos at a good price. There was an issue, but the friendly support staff resolved this.

Have never had a problem with their regular printing service, but I decided to order from their fine art Giclee service for my University final year portfolio submission.

The work was poorly packaged, tightly rolled along the short edge with nothing to separate them. They weren't sleeved at all, and so the inks rubbed off on the backs of each other. on top of that, the prints hadn't been carefully handled and had a number of ink chips which were very noticeable in the shadow areas of my images.

I reached out to them re issues with supporting images, and they said I'd have to mail back the prints for "lab inspection" - something I can't do because of my final submission for Degree show.

Overall quite disappointed for £27 per print

As a longstanding repeat customer who has awarded 5 stars on many occasions, I have to register my disappointment now.
Just like another review (1 * on 15 Feb) on Trustpilot this year, my 120 prints were 'muddied' and lacking in the usual contrast/brilliance that I have come to expect over the years. I took them to task and straight away it was blamed on my selecting the (non-default) option at 6p per print less. I know this is not the reason.

Like the reviewer before, I have had many of the same files printed at Boots (terribly slow service, mind you) and the prints were cheaper and better colour rendition/brilliance.

I did get some money refunded, but it has left a bad taste about what has happened at Snapmad. Not sure what I will do with my next large printing need.

My advice is to be very wary if you refuse to pay the extra per print on large orders. I think there should be one price and the prints should be printed at optimum by default (and be competitive at that price).

Always a consistent quality service

I had an initial problem with my original photograph which I had not noticed until I had received my canvas. However, following a few emails to Jon he sorted the problem out for me and I was able to receive a further canvas which was to my satisfaction and he was kind enough to give me a £10 reduction in the new canvas.

The turnaround of my order was very good service. I was dissapointed to find many of my prints had been cropped from what I submitted with much of the subject matter lost on the edges of my prints.

If I could give it 0 stars I would. The poor excuse of prints that were sent out to me were dull, grey, no colour, low resolution. I usually tend to use Free Prints but thought I'd give this company a try. Waste of time and money. I raised a complaint with customer services who then blamed the 'quality' of the photos I uploaded. I have used the same phone whilst getting prints from Free Prints and have NEVER had such terrible prints sent to me. If you want dull coloured, pale grey, low resolution prints, by all means use this company. So disappointed with the crap they sent me. Bad customer service too.

I frequently use Snapmad for my business, and I can't rate the team highly enough. Fantastic service. So helpful, prompt and prints are of excellent quality. They'll answer and help with any questions or issues. I wouldn't go anywhere else now.
