Sorry to say

Sorry to say, this time around Snapmaker did not perform to the quality I had when purchasing my machine. I have an older model and three and one machine and purchased a dual extractor. received the dual extraction module in a timely manner, but I received only the moduleno screws in no way to attach to the machine as well as the filament holder was not included nor was a manual contacted Snap maker and received after a week of explaining the problem to Customer Service they sent out the required parts two weeks later once receiving the parts,The module would not level.

Head USB-C socket came out during the assembly

After the assembly, the printer showed error communicating with head one, I tried to reconnect the cables and the USB-C socket came out with the cable. Opened support ticket to get the component replaced.

If you print multicolor prints buy it! You will be amazed.

I’ve had my U1 about two months now. For multicolor prints it’s amazing and also great for single color. I have printed every single day since I got it and have not had one failed print. The difference in waste compared to an AMS printer is a game changer. So glad I have this option now. I did have some tool head anomaly errors pop up after the print was finished but after cleaning the pins like it suggested I haven’t seen it again. Only complaint I have is that it disconnects from my network after it goes to sleep or my computer does not sure which but reconnects easily. Hopefully that will be resolved but mot really a problem just an inconvenience. Look forward to buying more of them when I can.

I love my new machine

I love my new machine. It’s early days but so far it’s making terrific prints and I love the 4 heads. My only other experience is with an AD5X and while I still like that machine I had to learn to deal with the usual problems. The larger surface area is great and I’m enjoying the faster prints

Service so good you'll feel like royalty

U1 build quality is extremely high, and the new toolchanger system is excellent, works like a dream. Networked printing is flawless, and the forked ORCA slicer is more polished than the standard download. The toolheads handle TPU and even foaming TPU with grace.
It even has a spaghetti detector which works so well it warned me about the stringing from the cheapest and dampest filament I have. It paused and complained, but it printed it anyway.
Best bit, it turned up in 2 days, and the box was unmarked, not even a dinged corner.
Service so good I felt like royalty.

Quick shipping

Quick shipping, great packaging, Easy set up and first print, nice build. We run a small print farm of approx. 45 printers, and this was our first multi-head unit, and I will assure you it is soon to take the place of several of our other well-known printers in our production rotation.

The P tubes are too big and allow 2…

The P tubes are too big and allow 2 filaments to feed on top of each other causing a jam.
A feed or print error happened causing a build up of filament which then dislogged the build plate and bent the heating nossel. No error notification or printer shutdown. Head jammed on the receiver and unable to get it off.

Fast shipping

Fast shipping, delivery was spot-on in terms of estimated delivery. Setup was easy (my first experience setting up a 3D printer). I found the YouTube tutorial most helpful, though the included Quick Setup Guide was useful and well done. I've been using the printer for a few weeks, and it's been a very positive experience, though I still have a lot to learn.

Absolutely fantastic experience.
Ordered my Snapmaker U1 on the Wednesday night and it was delivered Friday morning.
What a machine too.
Once the simple assembly is done, this thing automatically sets it's self up ready for print.
Bed levelling etc
1st print - Flawless
2nd print Flawless
Coming from a 6 year old Creality CR10S Pro V2 this is like jumping into the future.
Superb company to deal with.

I’ve had nothing but anomalies once…

I’ve had nothing but anomalies once every other print. Now I got an anomaly that the motherboard shutdown out of the blue !! Very disappointing and only had it for not even two weeks !! Just add, I’m running on the newest firmware update !! My printer has been out of commission for 2 days now because of this and slowed down the workflow at home business ..technical support slow to respond!

I have been using Bambu printers and…

I have been using Bambu printers and hated the time and waste involved using them. I run a small business making school logos and hype chains and the U1 has changed the quality of my prints, saved me a substantial amount of time saved and eliminated waste. I am going to build my print farm using U1's. The only thing that could improve the printer is 2 more tool heads for CYMKBW printing. I would be able to match any school color with that setup.
