Asking for the EMI which was already…

Asking for the EMI which was already paid in October but have pathetic redressal system . Even wrote a mail to the CEO/Founders but no result, instead threatening me with CIBIL and legal action causing mental agony and resorting to arm twisting

I had unintentionally made a purchase…

I had unintentionally made a purchase and am now being bombarded with messages regarding non-payment. The purchase was offered with a 4-EMI payment option. I received the payment link twice, resulting in two payments being made together, followed by the remaining two payments as per schedule.

Despite sharing the bank statement screenshots as proof, the messages have not stopped. The team mentioned they couldn’t verify the payments through the GPay or statement screenshots and requested my full 15-day bank statement, which I also provided.

However, there has been no response from their side since then, and I am now receiving messages threatening legal action and demand notices.

Snapmint, no customer support

I purchased an item from Geekrobo a steel cooker
I made down payment
Snapmint arranged additional payment
Then I exchanged the item for a small item with lesser price
I immediately mailed to Snapmint to adjust the EMIs for lesser amount multiple times
They reply with the same message n don't adjust the EMIs
Geek robo people don't respond
Snapmint has no contact number to speak to customer care people, they offer only 1way voice
Snapmint app also doesn't have any feature to adjust the EMI
I gave necessary confirmation messages from Geekrobo to Snapmint
Snapmint is threatening to take legal action now

"Snapmint is a fraudulent company


"Snapmint is a fraudulent company. I've never taken a loan from them, nor do I have an account with them. I've never even downloaded their app. Despite this, I'm being harassed with 3-4 calls daily demanding EMI payments. Blocking numbers won't work because calls are automated and come from different numbers. Initially, I thought it was a mistake and reached out to their customer care, but they asked for sensitive information like my Aadhaar card and PAN card, which confirmed my suspicion that it's a scam.

I would like to share my honest and disappointing experience with Snapmint, an online EMI-based shopping platform, in the hope that others are cautious before making a purchase through them.

On 12th May 2025, I placed an order through Snapmint for a 43-inch Foxsky LED TV, paying an upfront amount of Rs. 2,100 as part of their EMI scheme. The product was delivered on 21st May 2025 to my residence. Unfortunately, I was not home at the time, and the package was received by my senior citizen parents.

The nightmare started when I booked an installation through UrbanClap. During installation, the technician, along with my father, discovered that the TV was damaged. I was shocked and immediately contacted Snapmint support. I shared photos and videos of the damaged TV with their team via email and WhatsApp, as they requested.

To my surprise, Snapmint refused to take any responsibility. They said that without an unboxing video, they cannot help me with a refund or replacement. This is deeply unfair, especially since the product was received by elderly parents who were not in a position to record a video. Not everyone records unboxing videos — especially when the product comes from what we assume to be a trustworthy company.

Snapmint has simply shifted the blame to the manufacturer and asked me to contact them, which is both irresponsible and unethical. I ordered through Snapmint, I paid Snapmint, and I expect Snapmint to be accountable.

To make matters worse, they are now expecting me to continue paying EMI for a damaged and unusable product. I have made it clear that I will not be making any further payments unless I receive a proper resolution.

I strongly advise potential customers to think twice before trusting Snapmint. Their after-sales support is extremely poor, and their policies are unreasonable. If something goes wrong, you’re left completely helpless.
This review is not just to complain but to warn others about the lack of accountability and customer support from Snapmint.
