Review for Social Telecoms CIC – Absolute Joke

I’ve had stable Wi-Fi from Social Telecoms CIC for over a year — until now. For the past 7 days, it’s been cutting out every 30 minutes. I contacted support and got nothing but copy-paste replies and two completely different “fixes” that didn’t work.

Only after a week of nonsense did they finally claim the access point was installed outside my flat two years ago — something they never mentioned before. That’s a lazy excuse. I’ve used this connection daily for over a year with no issue. Clearly, they’ve been messing with signal settings or throttling something on their end.

Their support is useless and their IT team couldn’t troubleshoot a toaster with a manual and a YouTube tutorial. Avoid them.

They Installed paid WiFi into my council house in Glasgow.It was very poor and crashed often for hours Then it stopped for days and had too contact council as no phone number for this mob.Now it's crashing everyday.Contacted them by email and got a reply..there's been a power fault at your flat...It was a lie the WiFi box is still showing on when it's not, they sent someone too look at the box..He said he adjusted something..He left
It worked for a while then crashed again .Dodgy company who fix nothing ..ok they changed the box and fitted a WiFi repeater....And now it's disconnected it's self totally for days.Useless service with useless support.Emailed for help again and got no reply.Contacted my housing association who told me too out a formal complaint in by email.I have done this Waiting for a reply from even the last time I reported it broken.it went again and they said it's a multiflat problem.Recently has been stable but slow as usual.Did break again for a short time.Told them about it.Their reply ...Nothing wrong at their end.Bad company and still vanishing net on and on .Today there has been no net for 7 hours and counting.Do not use this cowboy company!!!!
