Quick delivery. Good quality products.

Socket World couldn't supply the switch I ordered, I was offered an alternative which was not suitable, I emailed Shaun at Socket World to advise and requested a refund. I haven't received a reply or a refund. Consumer protection and national papers will be the next step until I received my refund.

Buyers beware!!

Slight delay on delivery due to stock availability, but communications were good around this. Will definitely use them again.

They had the product in stock and shipped it promptly. Delivery was a bit pricey - but that was down to me only wanting one cheap item. Might be good to have a cheaper 'snail mail' option for low value shipments.

Being a stockist of electrical items, I would have expected the items to be in stock - or to be advised at check-out. While I understand that stock issues can arrive, I phoned 3 times to chase the order, which to me is not acceptable - the onus should be on the vendor to supply info to the customer not the customer to chase the vendor. During 2 (if not 3) of those calls I was promised a call-back - never happened.

Socket world's website is very easy to navigate and offers a fantastic range of products, one of which is Hamilton, which we have used before as their switches are excellent quality.
Customer service also very good, was informed that their was going to be a couple of days delay due to part of the order not being in stock, but it didn't make much difference, overall from ordering to delivery it took just over a week.
Would highly recomend Socket World for anyone who wants to buy quality items for very reasonable prices.

Everything listed on website (including less common items), seemed to be in stock, as v. quick delivery. Very competitive prices too.
Returns procedure for unwanted items (wrong colour/finish in some area !) was quick and easy to do...

ordered on short notice for 5 1gang 5 2gang intermediate switches ,
needed them urgently for a project, they got them too me on time.
intermediate switches the ones i needed are a nightmare to get a hold of.they kept me informed of when they were dispatched and when they should arrive
