Don’t fall for the sales pitch, customer service is horrible

I met a nice salesman that told a story about his family business. I tried to patronize that “local” business and realized, I should have bought a similar product on Amazon for half the price.

I placed an order and received a shipping confirmation June 12, 2025. After a couple weeks I contacted the company about the order. I was surprised to learn that the shipping confirmation didn’t mean my order had shipped. Instead, I was directed to the fine print on the website which includes the following language; ***PLEASE NOTE: OUR PRODUCTS SHIP OUT WITHIN 25-30 BUSINESS DAYS OF PURCHASE*** Return Policy: It is our policy that ALL SALES ARE FINAL and we do not accept returns.

I was told the order was going to be shipped a couple times which was not true. After the 30 business days, I filed a claim with my credit card company. Then my order was shipped around August 15, about 60 calendar days or 45 business days from the order date.

Finish came off after less than one year

We purchased two of the lounger swings for over $1500. We put them up under our sun protective pergola last summer. It hasn’t been even a year, and they look horrible. The finish is completely off the wood, and the rope is completely black. I contacted customer service to be told WE needed to sand down the wood and re stain and poly. They also gave me cleaning instructions for the ropes. I responded back after I was completely shocked with this response and asked if I was clearly hearing that the wood would need refinished yearly by US. SoCo again responded that was correct.
Buyers need to know that after purchasing swings for $1500, you will also have to sand them down and refinish them every season.

Because our swings use real wood, outdoor weather can change the finish over time. Sun, heat, humidity, rain, and salt air are different in every area, so we cannot predict exactly how fast a finish will wear.

For swings kept outside, we always suggest adding a protective coat, such as polyurethane or a stain and sealer. In many climates, wood furniture needs seasonal touch-ups to keep it looking its best.

Do not buy from this company

Do not buy from this company. They dont have the swings in stock and shipping took almost 3 months. The wrong swing showed up soco would not stand behind the swing. 1200 doallrs we cant use it. DO NOT BUY A SOCO SWING

The customer bought items from a company that resells our items. We do not handle customer service for resellers. He needs to contact the company that is on his receipt. That company is called Tar Heel Trading.

Socoswings did not sell to this person or collect any money from them.

We've repeatedly advised them of this. We even offered to send parts that he says are missing.

These people are a scam

Met them at the Grapefest in Grapevine Texas, ordered a chair and was told 6 weeks to delivery.
They never sent it, and despite several follow up conversations via email, they refuse to refund me or provide me any updates on if I'll ever get it. Its been over 3 months now and they have now stopped responding to my email requests.

SCAM SCAM SCAM. I purchased a swing at a NASCAR race at one of their stands back in September. I was told 4-6 weeks. November I emailed them and they said 4 more weeks. That was 8 weeks ago. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!

It has been four months since I ordered from soco swings. I have received nothing from them. I have repeatedly asked for the item or a refund. Their response is they will notify me when item is shipped. At this point I would just like to have my money back. Don't order from this place

Buyer beware!

I placed an order for a loveseat swing, spring set, and outdoor cover from the owner of Soco Swings at a festival on September 7, 2025, paying in full, over $800. I was told by the owner that it could be four to six weeks before delivery because he had other shows after that one to attend, back to back. Six weeks would have been fine, mid/late October, as this was to be a Christmas gift for family I’m visiting.

On November 4, I sent an email requesting an update because I hadn’t received anything other than a UPS tracking number on September 25 that has only ever shown “label created.” I got no response from the company. Not one word.

In December I emailed the company again, this time to cancel the order and get a refund since it had been three months with no delivery, no update, and Christmas just around the corner. Again, I received no response from Soco Swings. This time I called the owner and left him a voicemail, as well as sending him a text, and he never responded either.

The following week I finally received an email response from Soco Swings. But it wasn’t a confirmation that they’d cancelled the order and refunded my money. It wasn’t even an apology. It was to tell me that they had my order (yeah, I already knew they had the order) and that they should have the items in “in a few weeks.” I responded explaining that I had already waited over three months, that this was not acceptable and, once again, please cancel the order and refund my money.

Today I just got a second Soco Swings email — and it was the exact same response, almost word for word — that they had my order and the items should be in “in a few weeks.” So I have reiterated that no, the order, which I’ve never received, is to be cancelled and my money, that they’ve kept for approximately three and a half months, needs to be refunded.

Buyer beware! The swings seem nice, and they’re very comfortable. But having the company take your money for three or four months, never send you anything, ignore your concerns, and refuse to refund you is no fun at all.

Our experience was over the top

Our experience was over the top. We purchased the hanging chairs and didn’t assemble them correctly. Then we ran into the company at a different event and I mentioned it to Joey (the owner) and he actually came out to our home and re-asssmbled them correctly. They are beautiful snd super comfortable. He went WAY above the call of duty for us and it was greatly appreciated.

BUYER BEWARE!!!!

I purchased a swing on 8/1/25 at Wisconsin State Fair. My chair just arrived today. 12 WEEKS LATER! I contacted the seller many times and the last communication I received was on 9/26 telling me UPS was scheduled for pickup. In actuality, it wasn't scheduled for pickup for over a month after that. I finally ended up filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and disputing the charge with my credit card company. Joey at Soco Swings is a piss poor business person. The swing I ordered is actually a product made by Outdoor Republic. Soco Swings is just a distributor. Joey orders product from them and has it sit in his warehouse while he travels the country selling. Please do yourself a favor and do not waste your time with this loser or give him any money!

Edited to clarify that I DID NOT change my order. When I initially sent my first email, I referenced the rocker with the wood arms. I ordered the rocker with the wicker arms. So I did not at any point change my order. This is just an excuse used by Joey. He was completely dishonest the whole time, as he has been with others. As if offering a 30% discount makes up for anything. You've got to be out of your mind if you think I would spend another dime with you. I will make sure I tell everyone at the 2026 Wisconsin State Fair not to buy any of your products!
