Dear Sir/Madam,

Today was the delivery but I am so disappointed and I want my refund!

As you can see in the delivery note I paid for package removal

But the delivery persons just left it outside of the flat

Please advise and refund my payment for Package removal. Especially that I have ordered the same sofa bed 2 years ago in the same flat and they put inside and removed the package as promised.

I want to start by acknowledging the excellent customer service at Sofabed. The staff are very polite, professional and helpful when contacting them. The over all lower rating is due to the product and purchasing experience. I ordered the Dewsbury sofa bed and due to living in an old period thatched property with restricted access ordered with the detachable arms. When delivered the arms are detached and like others have mentioned trying to attach the bolts is extremely difficult. The material is placed over the holes and is not punched to allow access so it is extremely fiddly and frustrating, made more difficult with the bolts only just being long enough. In the end I swapped them out for longer ones, which made it much easier. Once assembled the sofa was wider than any measurement on the website, 182cm as opposed to 172 (166cm + 6cm for the bolt on arms). This meant it couldn’t go where intended. The main issue then appeared, as around 70mm of both seat cushions were unsupported at the side. On inspection the foam had been cut to the wrong size and then padded out with wadding to try and correct it. Customer service immediately agreed to send replacement cushions with new covers to fix this. After around 4 weeks the cushions were delivered however these had both been made too small by around 70mm each. Customer service again agreed to send new cushions with covers of the correct size. These were received a couple of weeks later and were the correct size. The sofa now looks as it should and does look great, with the benefit of having a couple of spare covers. Comments have been made about the back frame not being supportive. I don’t find this an issue and it provides adequate support. The seat pads are firm, which I find supportive and comfortable and not an issue as others have mentioned. Ultimately could I recommend Sofabed? It is difficult as the item isn’t the size stated, the original quality control was lacking and it felt like the cushions had knowingly been cut small and botched, and it took months to resolve properly. But the item is nice and the customer service was excellent.

A fabulous idea having a bed in a box and lovely company to purchase from. I was in need of something and quickly for guests to sleep on as we downsized our home. The company did not disappoint from our swatch arrival to the finished product which they managed to create within weeks. We upgraded to a standard double and the bed once pulled out is sturdy, great craftsmanship, very comfortable and easy to use. It is great additional and extra seating which was utilised greatly over the festive period. I purchased with extra cushions in the same fabric which adds an extra touch. We are very happy with our purchase from beginning to end and definitely recommend Sofabed.co.uk
The delivery was flawless kept informed at every stage including 30 mins before arrival, and took the option to change delivery day. Will definitely be recommending to anyone who would be looking at purchasing a new guest bed. ✨

I ordered a Sofabed which I was not 100% with.

The customer service team and MD, ensured that I would be happy and I had a replacement , which was the Winchester Sofabed.

The Winchester is fantastic, comfortable and solid quality, it is lovely to sit on, and the hotel bed action makes all the difference.

A very well made single sofa bed in a box. Extremely sturdy easy to set up and put away. Comfortable and a nice height to get up from.
Glad I picked the colour from the material sample. Fits in well with the other furniture. It is very comfortable to sit on, so very handy for an extra seat to.

After much searching across many websites for a sofa bed I came across this company and liked the idea of their compact Double Box Bed - basically a small double bed that folds away into a large ottoman-style unit.
The bed is handmade in the UK, comes in many colour ways, materials and also options for the mattress type.
The communication from the company was excellent and their estimated completion date was fulfilled (which I find a rarity these days with most companies!).
They used a very good company to deliver the bed (I’ve also rated them on this site).
The bed is very well made, sturdy and comfortable. It is for a guest bedroom-come-study so the bed-in-a-box idea is perfect as it not only saves on space but works perfectly as a very comfortable seating area!
I upgraded the mattress from foam to pocket sprung (extra £95) and in testing the bed out found it to be very comfortable. I’m a slim 5’8” and my husband a slim 5’10” and we fitted into the bed comfortably - I’d say anyone over 6’ would find the length a little short and certainly two overweight people sharing the bed would find it a tight squeeze!!
A great bed for guests / occasional use.

Good product, a bit lack in communication, maybe because they were moving factories.

Very happy with the customer service. We ordered in what should have been enough time to get our bed delivered the day before some friends came to stay over, but the delivery company booked us in for the day after! We rang the delivery company and they didn't want to know, but when I chased it up with sofabed they had a word and managed to get it rescheduled for a suitable time. Very happy with the product itself as well. Thoroughly recommend.

I always had a doubt whether I had done the right thing to order online without actually trying out this sofa bed first. The quality of the sofabed is wonderful. I do find it slightly too firm at the moment to sit on, but I'm getting used to it, but that said I did order the hotel action and upgraded mattress so it is bound to be firm. A phone number is available to ask any questions and answered by a person and not a computer. The only problem I found was choosing the fabric and colour. So many to choose from, but I'm extremely happy with my choice. Would I order again? Absolutely..

Purchased for my rental. Went with the hotel spec wider bed upgrade and matching foot stool. Arrived about 4 weeks later.
Super happy with the comfort and look and the fact that it needs minimal plumping of the cushions to look tidy and fresh.
