I wish I had read the reviews on here before I made a purchase through Wowcher!! Purchased a microsoft 365 licence and still waiting for code. Contacted software distribution, no reply! Contacted wowcher, who have sent software distribution an email and have to wait another 72 hours! An absolute scam and I want a refund from Wowcher. Avoid, avoid, avoid

My emails have been ignored for over a week now. I'm still waiting for my code

Scam!

Placed order expecting to receive a license key but instead recieved a seperate account set up on another tenant. I've asked for a refund and receive no replies to my messages.

Wowcher are also not helping in this matter.

Will be raising a claim via my card provider.

After some initial issues with receiving my code, I've now had messages/emails from Software Distribution and have received the necessary code. Thanks to Pieter for his guidance.

Ordered Microsoft office 365 family via Wowcher website received an email saying should receive code within 48 hours. A week later still no code.

Ignoring emails, Wowcher created a case number and sotware-distribution have ignored this group email from Wowcher too. I asked again for a refund and Wowcher not responding either.

Within an hour of order received suspected scam WhatsApp calls so I think data has been sold too. This made me Google and investigate as it felt off. Led me here to the many poor reviews, other positive ones I bet are fake reviews.

AVOID Wowcher and this software company.

Looks like I need to attempt a bank charge back or money is lost.

***Update after more chasing via Wowcher case emails finally got a refund via Wowcher took way too long following all the process but right conclusion.

I bought a voucher in Wowcher but never could redeem it because the code didn't work. I claimed and Wowcher send them the message. They never replied.

No trust at all.
Purchased Office 365 Family licence from Wowcher. First the supplier contacted me with apologetic email about high demands and estimated the time of the delivery. When the time came, did not bother to send me a product.
I am just waiting for money back - hopefully.

Dear Software Distribution. I have contacted you as asked and supplied order number and you know about it. Thank you with proving your scamming intentions, by accusing me my order was not true. Trading Standards informed.

I purchased a Microsoft 365 licence on 24 Jan through Wowcher. The product (which is still on sale on Wowcher's website ) promises 1 day delivery as it is just an online code. 2 weeks later and I have received nothing.

After numerous emails to 'Software-distribution' and Wowcher, they initially blamed too many orders, before then saying they had emailed me the code, which they had not. Then they went silent. My requests for a refund have been ignored.

2 lessons to be aware of:

1. DO NOT buy this particular product as it is clearly a scam, with the 'Software-distribution' having no intention of providing the product for which people have paid.

2. There is no customer service.

I have no idea how I will get my money back, as Wowcher just forward my complaints on to this company who then ignore it.

Bought Sketchup Pro via Wowcher over 3 months ago and still haven't recieved the licence despite constantly being told its 'any day now' Total scam.

Beware!!! Ordered software through Wowcher, but when I try to redeem through the software distribution website, the application I bought isn’t listed. 3 emails, and a WhatsApp message unanswered in 3 days. Even the Wowcher email to them isn’t being replied to. There’s a uk phone number, but that’s answered by an automated Belgian message. Not happy!

Purchased a Sketchup Pro licence via Wowcher which never materialised despite over two weeks of communication. Wowcher have been hideous in trying to resolve this. Do not buy I don’t think this is a legitimate business, no answers the phone either.

Despite numerous chases I have still not received my license key for MS O365

Avoid this company. They do not deliver.

SketchUp ordered via Wowcher, but no goods sent.

Received a promise of delivery via email, still nothing arrives.

Don't waste your time on them..

I purchased a Microsoft 365 Personal via Wowcher and, despite emails saying I would receive the key within 48 hours, it has not arrived.

Total scam!
Reporting to Microsoft, Trading Standards, and the police.

Since I placed this review Wowcher is now communicating and trying to help, for which I am grateful.
Software Distribution have excused themselves by saying they have hundreds of orders to fulfil, and have now sent the product (in fact, an upgraded product as a 'gift'), but I am not comfortable with it.
The mode of download is not as standard, and necessitates a change of Microsoft password, which I have never had to do before when renewing MS 365. That seems a very odd requirement and not one that I am willing to carry out.
There is no 25 character key, which is usually the normal way to action an MS365 renewal.
These are the main reasons that make me uneasy, along with there being several other unsatisfactory reviews, referring to the same product, from other customers.
I have asked to see copy of the certificate that proves Software Distribution is a Microsoft Trusted Partner.
When it arrives I shall update here, again.
I am willing to be proven wrong, and be shown that this is a legitimate Microsoft Trusted Partner download and not something that will damage my pc or compromise security.

SCAM, don’t waste your money like I have. I purchased through wowcher and told it will take 24 hours to receive my code 5 days later I still haven’t received anything they apparently have 7/7 support but I still haven’t heard anything back on any of my issues and to make it worse it’s a very dodgy looking company from Belgium. Definitely won’t be returning and will never be using wowcher either if this is the type of companies they work with.

I also bought an office 365 license and haven't received it since over a week. I am contacting the bank to reverse the charge as wowcher is resposible.

Beware of a convicted owner if this business. His court case was on the news in 2016 - google it! He appeared in court because he earned 65,000 euros by selling software and multimedia material via the internet and not delivering. Because he has nothing left, his parents offered to compensate the 187 victims with an advance on his inheritance.

Also, he filed for bankruptcy of his scamming business in May 2023. Again, info easily found via google by using his Belgian VAT number.

I have purchased a voucher for a Microsoft 365 licence via wowcher to be claimed from Software Distribution, however: the owner is NOT based in UK, he still sells hacked software (see other reviews) and wowcher has NOT made it clear. NO product key received. SCAMMER and HACKER, cooperating with WOWCHER, avoid at all cost! I will report it to Microsoft and Police. I am now awaiting a refund from wowcher.

UPDATE: business is on trustpilot for only few months, didn’t verified his details yet, responded to only 2% of negative review - info provided by trustpilot. People - don’t risk being scammed. Guy is now requesting my details and the details of my order etc while not responding to my emails for MANY days. My experience and review is genuine, as are the other negative reviews here.

bought an office 365 licence from them to renew my existing account , what they sent is a pre-made account which i'm unable to use to access my expired account after messaging and emailing them countless times i've still not got a response !!!!!!!!! very very poor customer service !!!!!!!

Ordered windows office 365 via WOWCHER, redeemed on day 1 been trying to contact software-distribution on both emails that wowcher list for them 7 days later still waiting for the licence. No communication from the company and no replies to emails.- rasied with wowcher who are also just as silent, and looking from the reviews im not the only one in jan, yet wowcher say its been ordered 700 times and in high demand, i hope they get better luck.

Have ordered two products so far and have had good experience with both: Microsoft Visio and Adobe Master Collection 2024.
I had an issue installing the Acrobat Pro component within the latter but they were very responsive (helping me on a Sunday evening) and it was quickly resolved.
