SOGO have been great right from the…

SOGO have been great right from the start. When our van was delivered it was explained briliantly how everything worked on the vechicle. The team have stayed in touch making sure we are happy and we have no problems. We are nearly a year into our contract and very happy with the service.

Unfair Damage Charges

We have been loyal customers of SOGO Mobility for several years, leasing multiple cars from them. Unfortunately, our recent experiences have been extremely disappointing.

SOGO once felt like a friendly, family-run business that cared about its customers. Sadly, it now feels like a profit-driven organisation focused on finding reasons to charge extra.

After leasing an Audi for over a year, we were billed for what we considered minor wear and tear scratches. When we asked for proof of the repairs, we were told the company didn’t actually have to complete the work — just that they had the right to charge us. This felt very unfair and left us questioning their practices.

Still, we had alreeady take the next leased vehicle, hoping things would improve. Unfortunately, it was more of the same. We were charged again at the end of the lease for a tiny crack — likely a stone — inside the clear plastic trim (no chip on the outside)! plus additional collection and admin fees.

These costs quickly add up and make what should be a straightforward, convenient service feel stressful and untrustworthy. After years of loyalty, this experience has completely put us off using SOGO again.

AVOID this Company

AVOID this Company. They will scam you for money. Upon returning the car they will accuse you of crashing the car, when clearly you didn't. I Took pictures of the car and on collection from you they will not take pictures. They will take unauthorized money from your account after you return the car and refuse to refund the money. Do NOT use this company

Good Service - Repeat Customer

I have used SOGO Mobility twice now - once for a vehicle on a 1-year lease last year, and then another on a 2-year lease starting this month. On both occasions the staff have been responsive, attentive and thorough, answering all questions and providing requested information in a timely manner. Will Mullarkey looked after me first time around, and Waheeda this time - so a massive shout out to these guys.

stay away from this company the accounts team don't know what they are doing and make me paid for the vans after send them back and not change all the old invoices dates on them. when my husband was on the phone to them they put it on lound speak and laugh at him when he has adhd

(SoGo have recently breached my data! Dealing with Karan at accounts regarding fake made up charges she decided to CC another one of their customers in on an entire email chain that contains a full list of private and personal information between myself and SoGo! Genuinely if I could rate them less than the generous 1 Star I’ve given I absolutely would! Honestly do yourself a favour don’t even entertain this company as I assure you’ll have so many problems with them you’ll regret ever giving them a single £….

Be aware! If you are even considering using this company for a personal or business vehicle lease I would absolutely advise you to think again! There is a number of reasons not to use this company.

The accounts department every single month get your billing wrong by trying to overcharge sending the wrong invoices etc you need to spend time doing their job for them. Since the start of using this company I’ve had a number of different people deal with my account due to the fact their staff are continuously leaving (that says a lot)

They deliver cars to you that are filthy, have a number of problems and damage to them and when you contact them about it they couldn’t care less, they claim to offer a breakdown service etc and when you do actually contact them for this they are completely useless! Recently they increased my monthly rental by an additional £210 for a 22plate car this is just a few things I have to mention. Most recently when I contacted SoGo to arrange collection of my vehicle Will Mullarkey gave me to most unprofessional response (See Image) if you ever need to speak with anyone at SoGo on the phone then good luck as they will just speak over you, hang up the phone and shout at you etc!

This company is I complete joke! It is run and managed by cowboys & conmen and complete incompetent jobsworths!

Poor Service and Unethical Practices - Avoid SOGO Mobility

Review:

We have been loyal customers of SOGO Mobility for several years, leasing both vans and cars from them. Unfortunately, our experience has taken a dramatic turn for the worse over the past few months.

Issues Encountered:

Unjustified Direct Debits: SOGO Mobility has been taking extra direct debits without prior notice or explanation. When vehicles were returned, we had to repeatedly fight to receive credit notes for the unauthorized charges.

Unfair Damage Charges: We were charged thousands of pounds for damages to vans that were not caused by us. Upon collection and subsequent inspection at their location, it was evident that the damage could have been caused by their drivers or a third party, yet we were held accountable and billed.

Price Hikes: Drivers working for SOGO Mobility informed us of a significant price increase of 40% on all vehicles. This hike appears to be an attempt to recoup losses, as the company is reportedly burdened with substantial loans.

Unprofessional Customer Service: Our attempts to resolve these issues were met with unprofessionalism and disrespect. Emails and phone calls were handled poorly; we were put on loudspeaker in front of office staff, laughed at, and hung up on. Requests to speak with a director were consistently dismissed with evasive excuses.

Conclusion:
Based on our recent experiences, I strongly advise against using SOGO Mobility, whether you are a personal or business customer. The stress and inconvenience caused by their practices are simply not worth your time and effort.
