OVO Solar & Heating - North East (Greenhome Heating) Reviews 

From the beginning Ovo and their installers Greenholme were professional and friendly in their approach. Given I was making a large investment in solar I asked a lot of questions and Ian, their proposals manager, was only too happy to visit and to talk to me time and time again. Their installation team were efficient and did a fantastic and very neat and tidy job, keeping me informed at every step. Absolutely brilliant and the best customer sevice I have recieved in a long time.

A charge was made for the detailed survey and design, which gave me confidence the installation would be properly thought through; the company contracted by OVO, Greenhome, are accredited by Heat Geek, which gave further reassurance. The installation was carried out over two days and the staff were pleasant to deal with. The solution is very neat and tidy including using one of my base cupboards for a heat storage vessel to generate domestic hot water. There have been no operational issues, at present generating hot water only since 1st July 2026.

From first contact, the appointed installer (Greenhome) was helpful, knowledgeable and patient with all my questions. DNO application was handled by Greenhome and was processed quickly. The initial agreed installation date as postponed due to an injury sustained by one of the installation team members. The actual installation went smoothly apart from some minor timing issues with equipment delivery on the day. Now waiting for final DNO permission to export and set up SEG tariff

From survey to installation the service offered has been exceptional. The pride in their work was obvious throughout the process. I would highly recommend Greenhome heating to anyone considering solar,batteries,gateway,ev chargers and heatpumps. It is such a hard decision, with such a large investment, to know you are getting the right people for the job. These are the right people

Greenhome, who quoted and then fitted my system were superb from start to finish. The team that came had some serious issues on the morning of install but still came and worked till the job was finished on a very warm day. The team were very professional and a pleasure to have doing the work.
