Bought solar from this company 5. Months ago, my bill went from average of 219$ to now a fixed payment of 189$, last 2 bills from electric company were -5$ and other one was 8$. Installers were very professional, sales rep was very thorough and Solar America team was always there if I had any inconveniences or changes on my hectic schedule.

Warranties are 25 years non pro-rated, labor maintenance and this company offers “guaranteed production for 25 years” therefore is 100% risk free for me as a consumer this was extremely important

I shopped other companies to find out Solar America offers the lowest interest rate with the banks, they been in business over 10 years, they never asked me for a single dollar and actually replaced my braker panel for free, I give them 10/10 if I could

Just because a “company” calls you after you submit your info to be contacted doesn’t make it a “scam”, Solar also isn’t a “scam”, it literally produces energy which in term offsets your utility bill, it’s not rocket science folks my good god! These are human beings and the ugliness from the above people shows what’s wrong with the world these days.

Where is y’all’s energy on the electric companies taking us for a ride? My electric bill went from 130$ to over 215$ in the last year alone, here this company is helping people AND the government with 30% paying to go solar and y’all are upset for someone calling after you left your info? Absolutely insane…

For the not so bright ones in the back let me keep it simple

Solar saves you money instantly around 20% year one, as the years progress you will save more and more and more while owning your own production.

You have a choice to either

A. Keep the 30% from the government (mine was around 11,000$) which I plan to use to pay off my truck payment of 450$ but my bill will go up 56$ in month 19 (I get a break for first 18 months woohoo!) so overall my bill will increase roughly 40$ in year 2

Or

B. I can use that’ 30% and keep the 189$ payment past the 18 months.

Either way I walk away very beneficial.

Hope this helps to the ones who passed elementary school, to the others…do everyone a favor and stay off the internet, avoid people and keep your mean comments to yourself, y’all are cancer to people and businesses

The sales representative who came to my home misrepresented the company. I won't go into details; it will be too lengthy. Anyway, I wrote a letter outlining the problem I am having. The Solar America people won't call me back to tell me if they have a fax number or even an address to which I can email the letter. I've hit almost all the people's numbers and left a voice mail asking for them to call me and give me their email or their fax number; or even the address I can mail the letter.

People need to learn Solar is complete b.s. I don't have solar and never will.
I filled out the quote form with a fake number and an email I hardly use. Do NOT get solar. It is a rip off. You do not save money. You are simply lowering your electric bill and adding a new bill. It's a scam. I laugh knowing these dummies will be desperately calling a fake number 10x a day. These solar companies are no different than the millions of scammers in India. Wake up!

Getting calls everyday from these asshats I'm sick and tired of it, I will be calling the Attorney Generals Office in Coos Bay, OR and reporting them. There's 2 numbers they have (541) 303-2484 and 855 999 6970.

After calling my phone five times a day ( my phone said scam call ) I finally picked up and it was a nice gentleman who was from solar America and needed to verify some information before I got sent on to the next person.
When he heard I lived off grid he very quickly said " we don't do off grid "
I said " A SOLAR COMPANY THAT DOESNT WORK WITH OFF GRID HOMES ?"
He very quickly said " I'm sorry no " and hung up.
Is this a scam or just a solar company that I ly works with the electric companies so they can get the over flow ?????

Had a system installed in 2023. Originally worked with Alec Escudier who sold the system with a first years payments check back for signing, which according to Alec, should have been sent 1 month after the installation. It has now been several months and I am being ghosted by Alec Escudier. I have repeatedly tried calling and speaking with different representatives (Nikki Icoli and Brandon Hewitt) but the former plays several different gatekeeper games, "[the person you need to speak with] is in a meeting" "*He's on the other line" "yes I'll leave a message and you'll have a call back today"... never got that call, the latter is playing the same ghost-a-customer game as Alec Escudier. I dont like leaving bad reviews, and i dont do so lightly, I like to give companies a chance to fix things, but after several months of this I have no other option than to say: This company is trash. Find a different solar sales company.

They took all the confusion out of solar and clearly explained exactly how everything worked. I’m so excited for my system to be installed and to start saving money.

This company uses offshore spammers to get around Do Not Call lists and obtain leads

Juan Chavez and Adam Griffin were my reps. They did a great job of explaining the system and financing. So far, I am very satisfied with their service.

Easy to navigate and really helped me determine which route we wanted to go with Solar. I would highly recommend.

I have repeatedly told the rep caller that I am not interested. Last time I got rude; now she calls and leaves a message an average of five times a day. Terrible customer service and no way at all I will ever use this company. I've blocked at least 4 numbers but she uses new ones to get through just to harass me.

7 solicitation calls in less than a day, even after blocking them. They claim that I requested information on solar energy for my home - not true or possible with our HOA rules. I cannot stop them from calling even after blocking them. They are filling my VM with the same message over and over again as if brainwashing me to think that I somehow did request their harassment. No reputable company would do that, much less over Laborday weekend!! Anyone requesting followup from them is obviously asking for trouble.

I want them to STOP CALLING ME I never expressed any interest in solar panels from them or anyone else - they calling me all day every day even after I block every number they call from STOP CALLING ME - I DONT EVEN OWN MY HOME

Can you give a minus 20, These scammers call me 4-6 times a day starting 7am !!! Every first caller is named Michael. SCAM, SCAM SCAM !!!! BEWARE !!!!!

My salesman was what really made the whole experience great. I could call him anytime with any questions or concerns. The system is installed and working great!!

I came into this thinking that solar was going to be unaffordable so I figured I would just ask a few questions to see if maybe I could afford it down the line. Turns out that not only was it affordable but now I'm saving money on my electric bill and I didn't even need to make a down payment!! If you're on the fence about solar I suggest you call these guys!

The salesman I had did a great job in showing me how everything worked, but not being too pushy and my install got done quickly and seamlessly. Highly Recommend.
