Also, took over 2 months and filing complaint with PayPal to get 2 couch covers shipped but wrong size and patterns.
Totally unreliable and waste of money and time.
This company sold me pieces of broken plastic and some kind of mini light strands that are not connected to any source to light them. I tried calling and contacting the company but the phone is not in service and the return addresses are empty lots. Don't buy!
I ordered a balloon launcher toy set from inspirationalgadget.com on August 27, 2020, with Express USPS shipping. My PayPal payment went to solarfairyledlights. On September 1, I sent a query to customer service, and received back a form letter which stated that once shipped, I would see movement on the tracking within 10 business days. September 5th, a tracking number was applied to the order, but as of September 22 there is NO MOVEMENT, and USPS has not received it. I continue to receive form letters when I contact the company. When I click on the website on PayPal, solarfairyledlight.com, the link now goes to ledsolarfairylights.com. Sketchy.
Had ordered some fairy lights through an AUS site that unknowingly redirected me to solarledlights.com which the prices were shown with no currency. Only when going through the checkout it had a very small US$ (less than 10% of the total price sizing) and was ghosted out hidden under the very Big and Bold total price. Had sent them an email to cancel when I saw they virtually drained out my PayPal account and then added several other emails to follow, all with no response back. 2 weeks later, I was advised of the shipping details and told them that I will refuse to accept. Delivery arrives 3 weeks after cancelling and I told the driver that I was not accepting a cancelled order to which he said, no problem as it happens a lot from this company. One month later PayPal is also not getting anywhere with them as they choose not to communicate. They also have been flagged by many others as a scam. DO NOT GO ANYWHERE NEAR THEM and maybe they will learn that if they communicate with customers, they might still have a business.
UPDATE. After trying to communicate with this so-called business over the past 7 weeks AND with no responses in return, I posted this complaint. Within 24 hours of posting this, guess what, I got my money back in full. A big thankyou to Trustpilot for proving how the power of customers reviews can make things happen. 23/08/2020.
