I paid £12,675 and I had the issues on my roof as they broke it during installation- they did not repair it and even their other installations ( Eddi) not working-

This guy owned Solar Solar Solutions! Look the fraudster up and see he’s been convicted of HMRC FRAUD and DRUG DEALING.

Looks like he’s letting others take the blame for his dishonesty!

We ordered and paid for: 16 panels with bird protection, eddie, zapi, growatt inverter and 2 batteries.
we did not get the bird protection when we noticed birds had already nested! so had to wait a year for removal of nest, scaffolding and removal of scaffolding after fitment. The eddie was also missing so had to get them out again. Then asked if both batteries were in one box but told they weren't they will come and fit it! Now they have gone bust no phones or emails and no battery!!!

Went bankrupt having taken money from some customers on the premise it was registered with a deposit and warranty guarantee scheme (which it wasnt) To make it worse CEO and owner John Alan Pearson is refusing to tell the guarantee scheme they have gone under preventing those with warranty issues from getting help. My install was messy and had to be rewired at my own expense due to this.

John Alan Pearson appointed a local buisnessman Guancarolo Marsango to the board of solar service solutions for just a few days before removing him and adding him to a phoenix company called pro solar renewable's.

Like others im reporting him to the Police

It appears that they didn’t put any of their deposits etc in the RECC IWA scheme post March 24, despite the contract saying they did. I did report them to Action Fraud but the police were not interested.

I have lost nearly £7000 to this company and have taken the matter up with RECC (Renewable Energy Consumer Code) as that seems to be the only option now. The Company had a contractual obligation to me and RECC to protect Deposits with an Insurance policy. I have no idea if this is worth anything. I checked Companies House and it reports that they have only recently filed an up date with no suggestion of going out of business.

It appears the company has gone bust. But a new company called Prostar Energy now appears on the web site hosting proposals

The solar services phone number no longer works. I exchanged texts with the sales representative who sold me the system and he’s told me they are no longer in business and that he’s got another job.

Absolutely rubbish company,they are unreachable so the quarentee is gone,they promised a lot but once installed they disappeared and they don’t tell you they just disappeared so the promise of life time quarantee is in the wind,they should be hunted down and screwed.

They requested (guy called Rory) and We paid them £123.50 as a 50% deposit to change our solar meter last month..
They failed to turn up; we chased repeatedly and spoke Susan in office, but despite emails still nothing happened…they’re now refusing our calls..scammers

Scammers ! Run away.

Paid them more than 10k for batter and solar panels. Company failed several times to attempt installation then got quote not answering phones. Eventually spoke with Matt Farmer who told me that owner John fired all office. Checked on credit safe and company has terrible report. Seems they are about to close and run away will everyone’s fund. Hurry up to file the cases with solicitors if you paid a penny to these scammers

Looks like this company has gone bankrupt. They took £10k of my money and never started the installation. Scaffolders have come and taken away the scaffolding. Calls and emails are unanswered. Various start dates came and went with a number of different excuses used up. Evidently, judging from bounce back emails, most employees have been made redundant. A "Chris" from the company called asking me to pay the suppliers directly to get my installation done but never called back and used a "no caller ID" number. This was most likely a scam attempt. I have obviously officially cancelled my contract and asked for a refund but the person I was speaking to about this was also made redundant and said the CEO John Pearson would be in touch - which I doubt of course. I would tell you to avoid this company and anyone associated with it but its most likely not trading anymore. Obviously do not pay them any more money if you get a call for your outstanding balance or a deposit. I feel for the people who lost their jobs because of poor management but I want my money back am exploring various legal and regulatory avenues.

Avoid, avoid! Paid my deposit. Nobody turned up on the appointed day. They do not respond to my e-mails and their phone line appears to be disconnected. I suspect the company has gone.....

Just been informed by my bank that my direct debit for a service scheme with solar service solutions.uk has been cancelled by solarservice solutions, since 15th April 2024 I have tried calling the company in Ringwood, answer machine kicks in giving information, then the phone goes to unobtainable.
There is nothing to say online that the company has gone bust, but that’s what it seems from reading other reviews.

They owe me money.
I've been told several times that it is on the way but it has never arrived.
Now emails and the phone go unanswered.
Wondering if they have gone out of business?

Too many problems to mention with this company. Customer service totally non existent. No call backs 95% of the time. Totally incompetent office staff. Installers excellent, scaffolding excellent, sale staff excellent. Phone lines are now closed but that doesn't make any difference to us as they never responded anyway. A very expensive mistake using this company. This installation was meant to start in February and was finished on 25th April. Is the lifetime guarantee still valid as the office phone lines are not being answered ?.Forgot to mention I had to call an electrician out on 19th April to repair solar installation at my cost as solar service are not answering phone or emails for last 10 days approx. Please don't use this company.

They seem to have disappeared completely you can’t use them as nobody is answering the phone or any email’s

Please accept our apologies and be patient with us for removing scaffolding I’ve been in contact with many customers to make arrangements for scaffolding removal but it will take us another couple of weeks before we catch up.

Do not use. Awful customer service, resulting in people not getting back to us with issues of getting the MCS certificate and told we could backdate our export once we had the certificate. Which we can not. We heard from a staff member today that the company is going under. As no one is answering the main phone, this makes sense. After writing an email asking about this we finally got a response denying this and our MCS certificate through (2 months after being commissioned)
