They installed my system and now no longer exist! I am generating no electricity after a €6,000 investment. Not so good🫤

Had a caller come to my house who explained everything to me, sounded good so said I would look into it, he took my details and let me know they’d have someone call round to explain more if I wanted the switch.
Received an email that same day saying I had been switched to them-something I hadn’t agreed to, contacted them online through a live chat and was very apologetic and assured me she would cancel it and stop it going through. Never received an email confirming this so tried to contact them again and go no response.

Fast forward to a week later I then had someone show up at my door to “complete the change over”. To which I told him I was assured it had been cancelled-to his credit he was very sorry and left straight away. I again tried to contact them to complain and again no response.

Glad I never switched simply due to the lack of customer service.

After receiving numerous costly energy bills last year, my husband and I decided to have solar panels installed on our home. After doing our due diligence we decided to engage SolarShare. The Sales Rep was very professional and knowledgeable about their products and explained the key benefits of having solar panels installed.

They gave us sound advice on how to utilise our roof spaces as we hope to convert our attic at some point and the solar panel installations have been positioned in such a way that we can still do that without compromising either the attic conversion or our energy output yield.

The installation team carrying out the installations were very friendly, professional and efficient.

We are now seeing the benefits of the solar panels installation and we are very happy with the work carried out by SolarShare.

Update 25/05/2023
The owner got in touch to see what issues we were having and got them sorted personally. Since then there service has been very good. For example we changed wireless router so like everything else in the house the inverter needed to be updated. We got a call from solar hare asking us if we needed help as they noticed we were offline.
Separately our last Electricity bill was negatable as we exported soo much.
I am changing my rating form 2 to 4 as I do think the issues were caused by global supply chain and other issues that now have been rectified.

I ordered solar panels with a backup battery and water heater at the end of April. As expected there was a delay due to supply issues. What I was not expecting was missing and faulty parts and then no spares. We had to keep calling to get any updates and most of the time we did not get any callback. I suspect this is a very small company that contracts out the work. If I try to ring all their 'Departments' I get through to the same person.
The tradesmen I have met were very friendly and possibly this is a teething issue with a relatively new company but I cannot recommend them.
To give them the benefit of the doubt I have given them 2 instead of 1 star.
