I am a retired guy who loves to DIY all…

I am a retired guy who loves to DIY all sorts of projects. I also live on an island off the SW coast of FL....so moisture and salt water are the two biggest causes of electrical issues. Before your product, I had to find regular butt connectors, go find my old soldering gun, flux and solder....and then go scrounge up some right size heat shrink tubing. This would often take longer than the actual repairs themselves. Now, I just grab a box of your connectors and my heat gun and I am in business. Easy to use and, in the few months I have been using them, they seem quite strong and impervious to moisture...including salt water. I use a lot of them on boats I am working on....including my own. So far, they are even working well on my bilge pumps that I just replaced....an area that is constantly wet with salt water.

Solderstick heat gun is worth owning!

I must first qualify my remarks by saying I've never owned a heat gun before the one I purchased from Solderstick. When I had the need, I would borrow my wife's hair dryer, which didn't always work so well. So when I purchased the soldersticks, I decided to buy the heat gun. I'm really happy I did!

The Solderstick heat gun is compact enough to get into tight places. It has a stand, which makes using it on the workbench hands-free. I am not a professional mechanic or autobody technician, so the gun has enough power for my uses (even if I was a pro I might have it in my toolbox due to its compact size).

All in all, I am happy with my purchase. The heat gun wasn't all that expensive and it brings the use of Soldersticks to a higher lever of convenience.
