I did a (what was supposed to be) paid trial shift with this company in November. I was told what to do for about ten minutes and left for the entire day to package orders by myself. I received an email not long after saying ‘they were unsure of the demand and how many people they needed to hire’ and therefore were not going further with my application. They asked for my bank details which I sent, however I never received any payment. It’s become clear that this job advertisement was a scam to get free work over the Christmas period, especially by the nature of the trial where it seemed I was there to fill a gap for the day. Also, the products are extremely poor quality, scratchy towels, loose, sparse embroidery, very thin socks. 100% would not recommend this company!

I ordered a pair of personalised socks as a Christmas present for my daughter, unfortunately the company missed one of the two names that should have been stitched onto the socks. I have emailed their customer service team politely twice but had no response.
I think even if their policy around personalisation is no refund or returns that a response to a customer to clarify this would improve their Customer Service expectation from the consumer.

Brilliant customer service
Just wanted to say how pleased I am with this company - I forgot to click the personalisation on ski socks as well as the box and they have added it later. I returned the socks on Thursday and received today - excellent service.
Avoid
Received the products (2 pairs of socks) so done better than some but one has a hole in and the other is the wrong order. Tried to contact them via email and not received any response.

I'm having a similarly bad experience with Solesmith as per the last reviewer (wish I'd seen this before placing my order). I placed my order on 3-Dec, still no sight of it on 11-Dec, and I emailed them to follow up a few days ago and received only an automated link to a tracking that doesn't seem to work. I then downloaded the Shop app as that email suggested, and that seems to say a different status to the one on the email. I tried phoning the phone number I found on Google, went straight to a mail box. Super disappointed as these were important birthday gifts for two 10-year old girls. Am hoping I might still receive them, but they are already past their birthday which is sad. If you don't want similar stress in your life avoid this retailer.
I think I've been scammed
I ordered a bag for my daughter's birthday. Received an email to say it had shipped the next day. It didn't arrive and I can't track it. I've tried to email for more information but no respone and the customer service phone number doesn't work. After a week of no response, I have to think I've been scammed!

Excellent experience with these guys- had socks done with personalisation that wasn’t quite in line with the designs on website- a couple of emails with Jessica and they made up exactly what I wanted. The recipient of the sock gift is delighted. They were dispatched and delivered very quickly, packaged beautifully for gifting.

I brought a personalised wind chime for a mate's family as he has very recently passed away. I thought is was wooden from the description but it is a dried banana leaf I think, which is really cool. It makes a lovely sound and I was impressed with it. I bought it via a third party website but there were no problems. Thanks!

i ordered a pair of socks in a certain colour to match my mothers dressing gown for christmas. not only did the box come all torn and damaged . they didnt have socks in the colour i ordered so instead of advising me of this they took my money and sent a totally different colour. unexceptable . i have dealt with lauren in customer service and after waiting on a refund for nearly 2 weeks i have now decided enough is enough . will not order again
Hopeless customer service
Ordered 3 personalised socks for a mentally and physically disabled man. Only 1 received. Unable to reach by email or phone. Despite trying several times over 3 days. They have taken the money for the three ordered. Awful - no customer service.

Was gifted a 'personalised' wallet as a gift. Can honestly say the quality is dreadful - feels cheap, looks cheap, is cheap! And the initials were basically stickers that peel off. Complete joke.

My Mum ordered a sweatshirt for me & as she didn’t think I would like it, I agreed to have a peek before Christmas. I’m so glad I did as the quality of both the sweatshirt & transfer was very poor. She returned the item & requested a refund but after 2+ was of nothing, I was told that she would not get a refund as the item was personalised.(The letter A). That’s seems to be what they are ‘specialised’ in. Really disappointed for my Mum .
Faulty socks but they don’t care
Personalised socks have a letter missing so are useless- numerous attempts to contact them and Joules re a replacement or refund have failed. Will not be using them again …
Item never received
Ordered socks in early August and never received them. Was asked to wait up to 8 weeks given the delay for postage during the pandemic but has been over 8 weeks and never received the item I ordered.
Waste of money and time.
I would not recommend.
