Ive noticed when, when holding USD/JPY trades for over 7 days brings positive swaps, which is a norm accross the industry. But solid ECN is swap free for 7 days. If they don't charge swaps, they don't pay swaps for 7 days, but on the 8th day, the start paying positive swaps on USD JPY. I get them, which is nice. Sometimes, I also see about 0.5% positive slippage to my take profits on trades. I can't complain about that

I was immediately exposed to a high 1:1000 leverage on a standard account, leading to six blown accounts. What's not immediately apparent is the ability to reduce leverage through the portal, which is buried in the site and can be a hidden danger.

I say this because They limit bonuses to $1,000, which isn't much in forex trading, and the bonus itself is only 15%. This limits its usefulness, especially during important news events. Without a bonus, there are no restrictions on trading, but with the bonus, it's not so flexible. I cant trade the news with the bonus. I cant go full margin either. SolidECN is a good broker, but their bonus system can be limiting,because there are news releases almost all time
