Joe put me in touch with a workshop that specialized in the type of wood I was after and took care of the ordering process on my behalf. He even provided exact information on where the wood would be sourced from and the grade/quality of the wood. The end result is spectacular! The best piece of wood I've ever owned.

Solid Wood Tops offers one of the most customisable services around. Their partners provide a wide range of edge and corner profiles, and the ordering process was smooth and straightforward. It's expensive, but the price feels fair when you're supporting independent UK businesses.

The website is comprehensive and answers pretty much every question, though it could benefit from filters on the sample photos to help identify products closest to your preferences.

Really good company to use. Very quick to respond to enquiries and emails, website is great for making everything clear and answering any questions you might have. Knocked one star off as there doesn’t seem to be an option to ring the company which would be helpful also
